Thanks mate and I respect your stance too....

It is a very touchy subject.....

YES,YES,YES------Same Love!!!!!!!

If a man can love a woman for 52 yrs, like I have; than a man can love another man in the same way----SAME LOVE!!! LOVE is LOVE is LOVE wherever it comes from!! Every fair-minded person should vote yes,IMO!

I'm not going to reply to such comments in this thread....

I've expressed my views and I'll leave it at that.....

I'm proud of my views....

I know why Southy is being quiet too on this and he's a Christian like myself on this forum and I feel we understand each other well in that regard....

Keep the Faith Southy and don't be afraid to stand up for what you believe openly even if you get caned with disrespect just shrug it off mate.....

But I thought you wanted free speech? I haven’t said anything nasty you just refuse to talk about the issue, you censor yourself.

You're proud that you think people aren't entitled to the same basic rights?

Ok...

Ok...

I can accept people don’t think gays should get married.
What I find hard to understand is why they feel their beliefs should be forced on to people who don’t share them.
I find it hard to understand why people don’t seem to be calling for homosexuality to be banned outright. Whilst it’s not a viewpoint I would share it would make a lot more sense than this current situation. These people are together, they are f**king each other, they are raising kids so why is the line marriage?

Night.....

So proud of your views that you can’t even explain them. The lord and saviour must be so honoured to have you as a follower.

To be fair that’s exactly what this vote is about. People pushing their views on to others.
If you don’t want a gay marriage don’t marry a gay.

Before I respond to this I want to say that I did vote yes. I think this is something that will eventually pass as it's growing around the world, but shoving it down people's throats like they have to vote yes can be quite confronting. It's not like you see no voters going around calling out yes voters. Well not from what I've seen at least... When Israel Folau said he was voting no he got hammered by people over the internet. Its highly possible that there are people out there who haven't grown up with gay people and have been taught conservative views. Rather than calling all no voters stupid old merkins it might help to actually understand why they're voting no because it may be a valid reason.

The yes campaign has been run terribly the vote was won from day one and I’m sure they have only pushed more people to the no vote.
Whilst I support the vote happening on the basis of it being a pre election promise this really should have been sorted in the parliament itself.

what valid reasons are there though? I’m still waiting to hear one.
R20s free speech only allows him to make statements not back then up.

If you're a Christian, then you put the words of your boss above everything else, including that man-made book you all seem to obey ABOVE his words.

"Judge ye not, lest ye be judged"

R20's being doing some judgin'

Disobeying your boss ? That's a paddlin' !!

Okay good it looks like we agree on that. I literally thought for a while that they were gonna lose because of how terrible their campaign was. I still don't know if it will pass tbh..

Well i know if you're a devout Christian it's pretty common to be taught that marriage is a sacrament only to be performed between a man and a woman. In fact I think most religions don't really condone gay marriage but are supportive of gay relationships. I don't really believe in marriage anyway I think it's a big lol but if homosexuals wanna spend the money then go for it.

Well I have voted no.

I feel I have a right to voice my view without criticism just like I respect the ones voting yes.....

I worry for children in that if they just have 2 Mum's and no father figure in their life is very very concerning to me and the kids mental state.....

We will be paying more tax too to go towards having hormones put into a woman to make him a man.....

At the end of th day imo if you're a man well then you're a man......

I respect gays being together in society and having a relationship and all that but I don't think it should be marriage.......

I believe God made us for who we are...........

A mother and father are made to bring up a child.......

The poor kids in schools is another big big concern..........

Plus freedom of speech.........

Also Shadow I do respect a point you made in that if a massive forward ran over a woman ref and they were then paralysed it would open a massive can of worms......... that was a smart point you made....... a safety issue..........
This Pommy....
