That rumour was also published in League Week in the article 'Smells Like Green Spirit', when they interviewed 'Kel' (Alan Kelly for those who dont know), he's been with the club since day 1, and he was talking about the change in attitude at the place, people WANT to play for canberra now.... good shit

Ball boy how any chance of getting kel on the forums for a bit of an inside scoop? The guy must have info on EVERYONE - who's injured, who's going well, who we may sign.... at Leichhardt we actually gave Kel one of those 'people tunnels' to walk through where we all lined up and patted him on the back...and at Manly he offered us free tickets although we just purchased them....yeah he's a club legend!

yea ill try mate i can rember grand final with premier league going around the oval and then we see kell he comes up gives us hugs and everything and then just jumps on the feild jeez he is a great bloke.

I think for a long time Kel was not paid, he just hung around because he loves the Raiders so much! Then they gave him a gig, yeah you're right ball boy he carries all the equipment and bags into the sheds. He gets so pumped after a win, he high-fives all the fans - sensational!

Oh and as for the wearing other teams colour thing. In my heart I will always be blue and gold. But my heart now belongs to a lot of ex parra players. You've got my beloved Ian who is down your way (and I had to get the Training shirt to match the Trackys that Ian sent up for me at the end of last season), as well as Bobcat Ryan at the doggies (and that shows the respect I have for the raiders coz I would NEVER wear doggies gear), plus Scott Donald, Daniel Heckenberg and Jeff Robson over Manly way. I have to show these boys that no matter what choices they are forced to make (leavin Parra) that I support them 100%. Probably not the most normal football thing to do, but hey, thats just the kinda gal I am.
