Also a bit late on this, but why is Shami out?

I thought that was strange too - I'd have dropped Ishant for Yadav, I think

Also was Ashwin injured for the first test? Not sure why he wouldn't play

Hazelwood looks a good bowler

I think Ashwin was fit, they just went with Karn Sharma. I felt it was an odd selection as well.

Agree on Sharma for Yadav too.

Dhoni seems to love getting hit,

Maybe best not to get him out for a while , will be blue and battered when he has to keep

Warne is an overrated merkin who's stats look so good because we play so many tests against the Poms who are terrible players of spin

India > Warne

we have Chappelli and Warnie now as the consistent;ly negative whiney merkins who are only positive when it comes to talking about themselves.

The problem is, the ultimately positive commentator is f**king Brayshaw.

I'd take Brayshaw over either of those 2 whingers

What's the deal with Chappelli, he was nowhere near as grumpy 10 years ago
All he ever does is moan now

10 years ago he was constantly paired with Bill in the comm box, who Chappelli has quite a boner for.

First Smith takes the captaincy off Haddin and now he ruins his chance to be part of 10 dismissals in an innings.

Yeah, hence Warne gets a bias here... O'Reilly was a less traditional leg-spinner as I understand it. I am biased too, as Grimmett was a Kiwi!

On the bright side, Starc has bowl better today
O'Reilly bowled more like Kumble, almost medium pace with mainly toppies and wronguns with plenty of overspin.
