With Smith seemingly enjoying his role at 4, he might just stay there if/when Clarke comes back, with Clarke slotting back into his preferred role at 5.

Get off the sauce. It's very rare a bowler gets into that bracket. Even Notch last year was only touching 150 and same goes for Steyn or Edwards and Best from the Windies. In the last 10 years only Lee, Shoab and Tait have gone past 150kms at only very short periods of their careers.

Derp,i asked how they lost so much pace, not why they aren't bowling over 150+consistently,there plodding around 130,that's a big drop off.

Mohammad Zahid was faster than Lee and Akhtar

None. The quickest might bowl one ball out of 50 that hits 151 but not consistently.

I'd suggest Notch is the consistently fastest in world cricket ATM.

We've got a limited overs bowler that's in the 150's...still a way to go, but nice to have some express pace.

When Brayshaw is commentating, it's you are watching cricket but listening to commentary from the Mardi Gras
