Definitely true, we have played much better in the day so far this year.

Unfortunately nearly all the finals games (including the GF) are night games ...

It's also spring... Less dew than now.

I noticed the field was quite Dewey. Lots of slipping over going. We bombed at least 2 trys due to dew I thought.

Think the crowd announcer should be broadcasting the classic chant "SHARKIES" (BANG HANDS ON GROUND FENCE x 3 like the very early days) regularly throughout the game and all and sundry join in.

Ummm, no thanks. Can't stand the constant noise through the PA. I don't even know why they have to play music during a break in play. Are our attention spans that poor?

Used to be a hole in the fence at the NW corner behind the hill we used to go through. Had to low tide to get there with dry feet.

You say that, but I'm sure it came out a few years ago after a few eyebrows were raised after an ANZ crowd that the Bunnies counted everyone in the stadium including the players and coaching/training staff :lol:

I also thought the crowd was a bit quiet at times, was expecting a bit more noise!

As for being packed, not so sure, to me there seemed to be plenty of empty seats scattered throughout and a bit of room on the hill.

Also noticed a few Cowboys fans, had 2 sitting beside me with 2 Sharks fans, a mixed marriage there! Plus a few wandering the streets and after the game
