brown does nothing yet, I've seen some nippy sideways runs but that's about it, I hope he watched mullin score that try.

set up 3 tries last week, is 19 and has 3 NRL games under his belt.
the other is veteran status origin drop out.
Id take Brown.

The problem is Gallen controlling the play. Its clear as daylight.
Making all the backs run from dummy half up the field then setting up Robson to kick from the middle of the field is a sh!t strategy and they did it every 2nd set.
Robbo or someone needs to control the backrowers.
Maybe Wade needs to come in more, he is killing it but all he's plays are wasted.

Reality check.

First half we were direct and out muscled them easily. Turning point was Fifita dropping the ball from the kick off. FMD it was 18 nil and we invited them right back into the game.

Second half it was obvious they had no idea what to do with a lead. Reverted straight back to Flannoball and it was shit. In defence, lots of arm grabbing and the ruck defence was embarrassing. Kicking game sucked so bad. It was bad Robbo out there, slow, ponderous and no kicks created any pressure.

Positives - Gagan was strong. Wade made a couple of great line breaks but he squeezes Ricky every time with the in and away.

Negatives - lots. Senior players were really disappointing. Gallen playing prop and half back at once.

Agree with Surely that Brown is being hyped a bit much. Some nippy sideways runs but little product yet. Definitely not writing him off but he is still very very raw.

He's always good for 2 or 3 drops in a game, poor carry

Guess they didn't want to disappoint the fans by playing differently in front of a home crowd.
I thought they got up a good lead with reasonable flair as they have recently, then deteriorated into their old hit ups and kick style. No variation. It's got me stuffed why the heck they don't have several runners feeding off Fifita, or even Gallen for that matter. I'm still of the opinion that when Gal's on the field the others lose their initiative and sit back waiting to see what Gal's gonna do. Then it's back to the continuous one off hit ups followed by the 5th. tackle kick. Very stereotyped. No wonder we don't win games - easy for the opposition to read.

performance divided by kilometers travelled plus expense times the f**king fine i got for driving too fast allegedly...

two english blokes infront of me were funny. they looked english. always an endorsement.

but yeah. quiet. crowd watched as if expecting the team to bugger it up. and they did.

seen a bloke strolling his infant out in the pram. told him it wasnt too late to change the little blokes fortunes. we all laughed at the ineptness of the club and wondered if in infant boys lifetime maybe he would see a premiership.

thought family day was good. petting zoo. cant have ponies at allianz.

kids even ran field before the second siren. good stuff.
