It Was a great game. The home-ground advantage was enormous for the Pennies.

Very similar circumstances at half time, nearly a carbon copy if today's first half.
The second half, in the Storm game, we tried our guts out but they ran away with it by many, many points.
A few months later we actually do play the game of the season, against the best side in the comp. We held our shyte together way better, much improvement in a few months. Finals time in 6 weeks, I see even more improvement, and us being more than a real contender.
Nicho will be a killer next year, let's see how he responds to this game. Not saying he was bad, but if he learnt anything from SOO camp with Cleary he sure as hell learnt more tonight.

I have been frustrated with Hynes for about 6 weeks. The hype early in the season was ridiculous but this is a massive learning curve for him. He will get a shot at leading a team in a semi final final run which will fast track his development.

I've noticed that he has changed his style with his goal kicking.... got more of a swing to it. When he gets control of that it will be an added class.
Like Fitz said last week "we are still trying to find ourselves as a team"
I feel this hinges a great deal on Nichos development.

It's amazing how the refs since the 70's have gone professional have so much more help, but actually seem to get it wrong more.
I understand it's a hard job, but it seems the decisions now are actually worse.
What dosent help is the NRL changing rules interpretations on weekly basis.

He wasn’t asked in the presser about the shoulder charge.

I thought he would get penalised at minimum as well.
