And to think the young broncos forwards have been the talk of the town for some time now. The fading, choking dragons were no chance today. Only problem is someone forgot to pass this message to the boys, especially the young dragons.

Congratulations to those true believers who ventured to the game and gave the boys such great support, I was so proud to see that bay filled in red and white, and the boys payed you back in kind. Best game I have seen the Dragons play in a long long time.

JDB would be long odds to play next week. Widdop gone for season. Graham should be back.

Mann was quite good today. If our forwards lay the same foundation as today, think we’re a real chance next week.

If the forwards repeat that performance then they are unbeatable.

Bennett blaming the loss on playing youth. WTF!!!!!
No mention of how we played or the fact we also played an 18yr old youth, a rookie winger with 5 games in 1st grade, a couple of bench forwards who've played a handful of games and a fullback in his first season. Add to that we suffered major injuries during the game to 3 of our key players in JDB, Jammer and our captain Widdop.

Sorry Wayne, that's just sour grapes on your behalf.

Wow what can I say that hasn’t been said. I was not expecting a win let alone one of that proportions, but they were great today. I’ve no doubt some of those young broncos had an eye on next week & were blown off the park by our physicality.
The most pleasing thing for me was that against all odds we went on with it which should do their confidence the world of good. All players were outstanding but I was really impressed with Lawrie & Lomax who is there to stay. For those who bag Widdop go & get yourselves well & truly fckued he is so important to our team.

the silver lining is something many of us have said all season long .you dont know about the young guns unless they get to play with the big boys .how good were lawrie and lomax and luchiano today ,outstanding .sometimes playing in isp they dont get noticed ,but when somebody like widdop and hunt are pushing them around the park ,they shine GO THE BIG RED VVVVVV....

cmon man you’re starting to sound like mmg fans who pay to watch or pay to be members are entitled to voice their opinions in good and bad times like I said on another thread Mary gets kudos for the win but is also culpable when we lose but the fans are within their rights to criticize or applaud they earn that right based on their financial input into the club

Comments from Dragonslayer - Dufty: Much improved game and didn't try to score of every run. Didn't drop a bomb today and took a screamer under pressure.

My observation, Dufty possibly takem out in the air. How was Nene penalised when he hardly shouldered a player who still lept for the ball. I see worse all the time. That was a bad penalty. Sorry I was ropable after that one. But still want to see Dufty take the line on, not try and run around it and not die at the line. Just want perfection and continued improvement with the team again thats all!
