I couldn't believe stupid play by Tracey calling for the ball when Nicho and Trindall were on the other side with 6 players on two and Teddy was in the bin and why oh why did Brailey pass it to him.
And I don't understand why Tracey was taking the 5th most of the game and getting rag dolled every time for a slow play the ball. Macca used to do the 5th and always land face down and quick play the ball.
I don't want to see Tracey in a Sharks jersey again.
Not to be a hater, but if Conner overcalled Nico, that’s two finals in two years at home where he has significantly contributed to losses.(but he runs weally fast).

The Sifa experiment is over, he is no match for a quality natural centre nor does he have the speed for the position.
I concur, love what he has done, but other teams have worked it out. He looked slow last night and tried very hard to dent the Roosters line. Unsure of what to do with him now.

I hope every player and coach gave Brailey a serve after that play.
That cost us the game.

The Keary strip is exactly why you have keep a challenge up your sleeve.

Anyway, Brailey drops a simple ball over the line. FFS, I knew that would bite us. That kid has no killer instinct.
Brailey being a disappointment is a common theme. Appears to do just enough to be the next big thing. Maybe a generational thing, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen him upset about anything….ever. Yeah he tackles a lot, he’s really cute and Andrew John’s always talks about his future in Origin, but same old same old

Wasn’t Brailey’s ball to grab, get out of the way and I think Sifa scores easily.

He was on an upward trajectory, this year he went backwards.

Does not seem to have a leaders bone in his body. His service was poor at times, does not run or kick enough, no improvement in his dummy-half subtleties.

He has all these skills, I am at a loss to understand why he just expects others to do everything.

Was a passenger this year, saved his worst for last.

Impact off the bench playing lock.

I like Sifa, but after watching him get bathed by Manu, then when Ronnie makes a break, he is unable to out pace the East's hooker, a quality centre scores there.

Fitz has a long off season of deep thinking or maybe just continues to think this side as is, can make finals, cannot win one is good enough.

Watch the last roosters try and the lack of effort from Wade. The kick gets deflected and bounces back to the rooster winger. Wade hunches over to catch his breath as soon as the kick goes in. He then stays haunched over while the winger catches the ball and runs into the gap that was pretty much a metre or two to wades left. Wade didn’t even lift his head to look. Would he have stopped him? Maybe not. But compare that effort late in the game to Tedesco and keary charge downs.

yeah saw it. Wasn’t a good look. Don’t think he makes a difference though. Nice work by JC. Two games he has contributed to us losing through dumb plays.

I’ve wondered the same for the past couple of weeks.
For all the hoopla over how many metres he makes each week, I’d wager a fair portion of them are made up there.

As to him over calling Nicho and Trindall, if that’s the case it’s as much on Brailey as it is on Tracey.
A 100 game Hooker has got to know which voices he listens to, ESPECIALLY in that position.

The ball has already cleared the ruck in this screen grab, you need to go a couple of frames earlier. Teddy right next to the ref with foot on the line.
I thought you guys took your foot off our throats. Your goal line defence was the best I’ve seen in a while.

Totally agree. Going for the 2 when you were a player down.. far out. Going to the right when we should have gone left. Far out. Definitely thought we did enough in defence to win the game, just lacked the killer instinct to get it done.
