they aren't important to the story. need more arya scenes with little to no dialogue and washing dead bodies.

Do you mean Winterfell? It's been explained in the show, Baelish is showing Sansa how the game is played. I have never understood Eddards aversion to the game his father played it rather well, yet eddard refused to play the game and sheltered his children from its existence. One thing I have found odd this season especially as a book reader is Cersi hosting the small council and neither Margery or her father ousting her, what authority does she have to chair the small council.

It's a huge variation and the explanation in the show doesn't wash.

I think the difference here is they wanted to keep Tyrion in the show and needed Varys with him to provide someone to interact with. Thus the King's Landing story has been delayed or altered

I don't really get your point to be honest. Book readers would understand her story and show watchers would not even recognise a change has taken place. Baelish's mentor role has come up in multiple episodes rather directly so I don't see where the confusion would come from.
