In rugby league? Yes they do.
No they compete as the island of Ireland which isn’t a country.

There’s a better chance of having an Australian in Blake Austin in the team than any native from the other home countries.
Careful. You don’t want another tirade from ‘spud about it being nothing to do with you foreign types.
I suppose my follow up is, is there a point to this beyond selling a new jersey? It's not the long term goal no...

Erm.....have broadcast partners been announced yet?? The tour starts in 8-9 weeks
Wonder how much they've paid? Probably f**k all..
Scott Quinnell never played for GB.I like to see tours branded as GB lions and tournaments as England. Hopefully we will one day raid rugby union ranks again and find some more Jonathan Davies, scott quinnels and George fairburns to Bring some home nations flavour to the lions.
Should have done as should Scott Gibbs. Both fantastic players who unfortunately joined RL at the wrong time 1 year before union went professional.Scott Quinnell never played for GB.
We could always try and develop our own RL talent in wales, Scotland and Ireland but even then I personally wouldn’t want to see a return to the GB lions as I believe it’s a relic that should remain in the past.I like to see tours branded as GB lions and tournaments as England.
