Start of 2018 I was coaching my sons U6 league start team.

We were lucky to have a visit from the Panthers.
T.May and Romey were soooooo good with the boys. They gave 100% to the team, to the point were they stayed an extra 30mins, just kicking the ball and letting the boys tackle etc.
At the end T.May even shouted the boys pizza, out of his own money. I was so impressed with them and the boys still talk about that visit to this day.

He made a mistake, but I for one am really glade he is still a part of our club.
Well said.

Nathan Cleary was on this podcast.

He was asked who in the team would win a 100 metre race. He said the physios at training don't allow the players to have one (presumably because of Edwards and Staines' hammy issues) but the players want it and he'd put his money on Dylan Edwards. He said himself and Naden both believe they would beat the other and like to banter over who is faster. He also said after Laui, Naden and Martin are the biggest pests in the squad.

I think there was some post here claiming Staines and Laurie ran about equal first in a 100 metre race. Looks like that was a lie.

Are you calling me a liar? I saw them race with my own two eyes. I’ve seen it several times actually.
Who was the victor out of curiosity?

It’s kinda funny how we all have this obsession around speed over 100 metres but as Rob Weaver used to point out on another forum in days gone by it is speed over 40 metres that really counts.

I’m as guilty as the next person with who is quickest over the 100.

I'll go back listen and write out the full quote later but I swear Nath said in reply to a question asking who would win out of the entire team they aren't allowed to race 100 metres like that so he doesn't know who would win but he believes Edwards would.

I have no idea what rules they have at training.

It was at Victoria Park, Campbell town, after Oztag.
You can quote all you like, I know what I saw.

Daine won, but it was very close. Iike, a metre in it.

Wonder where Rob Weaver is now? Does anyone know his current situation?

I wonder if he lurks here under a another name. Perhaps he was Billy Pilgrimz in disguise?

Man what is it with Coffs Harbour? How many sex scandals have gone down in that small town over the years?

Such a seemingly random place for such things to happen.
