What shits me is it costs $100 for a jersey for my kids. There's about a quarter of the material and its going to be outgrown so quickly.

Ive bought 4 infant jerseys between my 2 boys. None fit now. They're 4 and 5. In the smallest kids sizes

I love my kids being decked out in Panthers gear. Just cant afford to replace it so often. The quilt sets were the best value. Less than $100 and it wont be outgrown.

So true, Me I can't justify $170 for a jersey when I can only get down for a couple of games per year too. The price of kids merchandise is crimminal. Best and Less so an OK line in NRL stuff that's more budget friendly. Altough their Panthers stuff is CRAP

Yeah Best and Less jerseys are nasty looking. My older boy started with one. Not going to make them wear ghat cheap crap again though.

You would think a ~$50 price point for infant jerseys and an ~$80 price point for kids jerseys would help increase sales and still be profitable for the club and NRL.

It would go a long way to helping get fans at a younger age aswell.

That sounds heaps better. I'd buy more.

It might be too early to start speculating, but who do we think we might lose from the side during the Origin period this year?

You'd have to think that with Cleary being injured, subject to when he comes back he probably won't make the side anymore.

Equally, however, Maloney (if he keeps up his current form) might end up being picked again. If Cleary recovers early and has had time to show some form, Fitler might decide there is some benefit in going with the club's halves pairing and pick both Maloney and Cleary.

I doubt Wallace will get picked at hooker, although last year he was a certainty before injuring his groin (leading to Peats being picked in his place). It remains to be seen what kind of form Peats is showing by mid year.

RCG is probably the most certain selection.

Yeo, despite the fact that he would be an excellent selection and deserves to be picked, is too underrated so I can't see him being selected. I can't see Merrin or Tamou being selected either.

Fitler makes noises about Waqa from time to time, but Waqa unfortunately still has a few mistakes in him which might be enough to keep him out.

Mansour is down on form. There is a possibility he gets picked but I'd think it unlikely at the moment. Cronk and Smith would just target his side.

Yeah maybe he should lead the team for the rest of the year. Nathan doesn't seem like the type who'd be offended

I think the injury to Cleary will have a longer term benefit. maloney can run the team for a while and there will be less pressure on Cleary when he returns. I just dont think the balance was quite there in the first 3 games.

Tend to agree, not sure Maloney gets picked. Keary might get the 6, he may even prefer Moylan. New coach = new blood, culture etc.

I think Yeo might be in with a shout with Fittler as coach, especially if he keeps playing as he is.

I thought Peach was solid. Defensively was a lot better then I thought & Didn’t overplay his hand. With our forward pack firing I think we can stick with him at 6. I’d personally still go Luai but Peach as a stop gap isn’t the worst idea IMO.

Can't pick a bloke who sees himself as a Queenslander

Keary/Moylan is a match not made in heaven.

A lot of Penrith players will attract attention because we've started the year well (for once) and Fittler has a wrap on just about everyone in the team.

I'd say Waqa Blake will be a chance. Though I'd prefer other centres.

I agree with most of these ratings.

I'd give Edwards an 8. He caught a number of very difficult bombs and was impeccable. The fact that he didn't put a foot wrong last night helped us a great deal - I don't think we made a single mistake coming out of our own end in any of the backs.

I don't agree with giving Mansour a 7. His positioning and miss lead to one try, and luck saved him from costing us a second try when the Cowboys knocked on after getting around him in space. He deserved a 5 at best for last night. I would rate Whare ahead of him - Whare had a quiet night, but I don't think put a foot wrong.

I also thought Peachey was reasonably solid. He is not a traditional 6 after all and was asked to fill the spot. I don't think we could have asked for more than what he did last night.

I would give JFH a 9 and Merrin a 7.

I also thought CHN had a very solid second half, given he was brought on to replace Yeo and belted out a great 40 minutes.

Tamou also can't really be blamed for the binning. It was just insane that the ref binned him.

I hope we pick the 6 to suit the opposition. Cowboys jam in so makes it harder to spread the ball do a defensive 6 was fine. Parra we will see the same side I think but v GC. Perfect time to give Luai even just one game so if we need him later he has had a taste.

I think Peachey, Maloney will play Origjn. RCG too so 3 reps isn't too bad if we get our depth guys games now

RCG is certain. Cleary will get picked if he gets at least 2 games and plays at his normal form level. Maloney is almost a certainty. Blake probably doesn't get picked, unfortunately.

Keary doesn't get picked. He's QLD, huge drama a few years ago about him wanting to declare for them even Mal came out in support of it.

Edit: If Wallace plays every game like last night he's a good shot at being picked.

For the the criticism Whare got, & for the most part it was justified, I think he played a great role on Thursday. His decisions in defence, when to jam & when not to, were superb.
