Not too bad so far. Just a tad light-headed afterwards but ok. Had a panadol and drank plenty of water afterwards. Probably get some side effects tonight or tomorrow. The Dr was that good I never felt the needle going in.
Neither the wife or I had any issues with either jab and likewise with the needle never felt a thing. Roll around mid October and hopefully a GF win in the meantime.

I spoke to soon. Went to bed Wednesday night and within 30 minutes I starting shaking and shivering. I put something warmer on and then I started to sweat. Had a terrible night. Completely drained the next day with a headache.
Thankfully a full night's sleep last night and I feel better.

You’ll be fine. Just don’t try to think of it too much, it could be anxiety.

Sorry to hear that but your experience sounds similar to mine. About 24hours of feeling fluey/aches.

Hopefully that is behind you now and you can look forward to a full weekend of finals football. Drink plenty of fluids; a doctor would tell you water is best…

Nah, I have done a battle in the past with that bastard. I have that under control. It was flu like symptoms

My Mother's friend had a similar experience. Lasted a day or 2.
My immune system sucks. I think that is why I copped some of the side effects. My Brother( build like a tank and gets over the flu in a day) had the same Vaccine not that long ago. All he had was a sore arm
At least I know the vaccine is building up a defence. Should that other bastard come.

how long will our premiership window realistically last? we have some positions needing to be filled in next season, with burton being a massive loss for us whereas capewell can be moved on. we need our leaders yeo and cleary to step up massively not only for the next few weeks but also going ahead, we have a relatively young squad which is good for us and this season was/is our best to secure a prem but after today’s loss our road ahead is tough, i’m very concerned going ahead with some of the choices and decisions the club will have to make.

It’s too hard to tell. At the end of 2019 it looked like we were destined for mediocrity for as long as Ivan remained at the club, fast forward 2020 and we’re in a grand final. Anything can happen in nrl it’s a weird game. Only thing we can do is just enjoy it while it lasts

We lose Burton and Capewell. Gotta fill the gaps.

Right now it doesn't look to be a better squad next year. The junior talent will save us probably.

Closes this year. Burton and Capewell are big losses. Juniors will take time to fill the holes.
We have wasted another year.

This year is far from over
It is over. World beaters during the season, come finals time pretenders. We don't play our best football in September. Should have beaten a bunch of pretenders like Souths without fatrell.
Shit the bed last year. Wasted opportunity.
Ivan is another Brian Smith. Always a bridesmaid.

The wily old coach does it again. He knows we have the better side but he comes up with a plan to throw us off our game and win a little flavour from the refs.
Out coached on this one.
Ivan don't bother with the pre game bullshit. All it does is add a bit of spice, but you can get too carried away and lose focus.
You have few friends in the media, better to close ranks and make sure the team is ready. Then engage in mind games.

We need to start kikau he's too valuable to be on the bench. Our pack is too small when kikau starts off the bench gotta start games well.Pangai jnr is wasted in the middle he could be our version of David fifita why play him up the middle use him on the other edge.Momirovski defending next to cleary gives you 2 flat footed defenders next to each other south's found them out the other night.Although chrichton played ok at fullback last night we are stronger with Edwards at the back and chrichton in the centres.Staines is not ready for 1st grade if Edwards doesn't come back then naden has more experience then Staines it's a no brainer. As for eisenhuth he's too slow and soft bench should be leniu pangai martin and tago I don't rate Kenny either he's too small slow and can only cover 1 position waste of a bench spot.
