Re watched the Parra semi tonight. Will try and get to the prelim and granny over the weekend.

Wow what a game that was. Instant classic. Local rivals, both sides defended out of their minds and never dropped off the level all game. Comes down to our side defending their line in the final minute!

We had a good 5 tries that very near misses and largely controlled possession, field position and the ruck all game so were clearly the better side. To Parras credit they didn’t fold. It’s the kind of loss that can push you over the top. I think Parra are right in the mix this year.

Dyl had a few rough moments but was an animal, Burton and Critta had a number of huge plays, Capewell was everywhere and Api was just lightning out of the ruck.

Some of you think way too deep on this stuff. It's just lazy reporting. I dont think Laurie hates anyone. He isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but seems like a pretty decent bloke.

They had beef with each other. You could see it during games when they would niggle at each other and throw the odd stiff arm in a tackle.

Carter was an angry f**ker. I remember him going after Wendel one Saturday arvo at Penrith. He had Wendel pretty rattled. I think we won the game too, a young Darren Lockyer had an absolute mare with the boot. They scored more tries than us, but Girds schooled Locky on the art of turning 4 into 6.

edit. 2 different games, Carter missed the game in 97 I was thinking of. Score was 27 to 26, 6 tries to 4. Girds 5 from 5, Locky 1 from 6. Ha ha. It may have been 96 or 98 Scarter made Sailor his bitch.

Quite impressed with Anasta as the host.

Unlike Ikin he's not passive aggressive in his approach.

They did an interview with Ivan Cleary. I thought was interesting.
