I’m a bit surprised that O’Neill failed to be re-elected given he was the one who brought Ivan back to the club and all the success that has resulted over the last 2 years.

Not that I care, he had too many other shortcomings, but I thought that would of kept him safe for a short while.

I just don’t know enough about the politics of such matters.

I’ve never voted in such matters, I don’t know anyone within my circle of friends or family members who does.

I think I read somewhere the John Farragher ticket was strong and ultimately led to O’Neill being ousted. What goes around comes around I guess and it may be reflective of going back to the Gus Gould knife in the back. I’m only speculating , but when politics are at play, factions, agendas who knows, but I can’t help but think it can only be payback.

To Parras credit they didn’t fold. It’s the kind of loss that can push you over the top. I think Parra are right in the mix this year.

Their problem has always been a massive disparity between best and worst performances, and I don't know that anything has been done about it.
