For crying out loud, my name is not Janey, you imbecile
Quiet in the f**king ranks.

You snivel away on your knees crying and sobbing over poor fat bastard Gus while fans from other clubs are here, sacrificing their precious time on home forum…defending your honour.

I’m just glad @soc123_au isn’t around to see what’s become of his forum.

You folk who are happy to take it up the clacker from Gus, go and support the dogs you pikers.

It is what it is. No one here is getting there knickers in a knot over it.

It’s just the business of the NRL and Salary cap. Gus is just doing his job for his current club, no big deal really.

He is still going to fit Mitchell Moses, Spencer Lenui and perhaps he can add David Fifita as well.

Its all good, your stressing over it, most of us aren’t.
Just putting my opinion across. It’s a strong one on this topic I admit.

Gus is a rat and needs to called out.

Once other clubs see the rot set in, they’ll come after you. The old days of having your juniors gobbled up early, screwing with you, will be back.

I mean we’ve already started, but we didn’t have any Gus induced headstart.

First of all, Gus owes us nothing. He is no longer employed by us. He has a new employer and clearly he has to do what is best for his current employer. As it stands, he appears to be building a pretty significant roster. It is convenient for some to cast dispersions on some aspects of his recruitment but to me I would be very surprised if the Dogs don’t make the top 8 at the very least this season.

If the dogs make the 8 it will be off the backs of the thousands of junior panther people who put in because they wanted the Panthers to succeed.

He’s been involved in a campaign of helping himself and the dogs by stealing your players, staff and other mischiefs.

Many years ago, it was the panthers who gave him his first grading. It was the panthers who entrusted him with so much.

Even let him run the club,

Gus did not get where he is without the Panthers.

He’s an ungrateful traitor to the region. Busy selling himself at your expense.

He’s gone too far. He’s an asshole, my Penrith mates think he’s a low gutted dog. Even my rooster mate thinks he’s f**king with you.

The rot will set in, your good work will unravel, faithful players will see what he’s doing and good bye loyalty to the teal. No more cheap Dylan Edwardses.

I’ve heard Ivan hates his guts but can’t say so publicly obviously.

ffs, no leave pass. He’s not the messiah, he’s a self serving greedy league mercenary with zero integrity.

Fire up killer. This Gus thing is unacceptable.

You pretend it’s not happening, a state of denial an appeasement policy. Convenient and comfy now while you have a threepeat coming but the panthers could become a doggie junior catchment if it isn’t already.

They start recruiting your big local Islander boys, hit the churches and stuff…make it cool to be a dog, it’s chocolate soldier time again. It’s a disease.

We are all disappointed we couldn’t keep the band together but it is what it is mate.

Your side are the beneficiaries in respect of Api Koroisau.

Kikau, Burton and more recently Crichton it just the business of the NRL Nothing to do with Gus or Ciraldo.
There just doing there jobs.

We surely now have the funds available to retain Spencer Lenui if we actually see him as a crucial cog in our side going forward.

Money being equal, Spencer might well want to play with his friends at the dogs.

It’s become kind of cool.

He wouldn’t have this social option if Gus hadn’t brazenly plundered his old club.

Gus isn’t plundering the storm etc. it’s a knife into his own.

It’s beyond business, too many panthers are moving across. They are even lying about it.

I don’t have to tell you, the list of elite young panthers finding nirvana at other clubs Is long and impressive. No other club has mismanaged its junior talent for years and years up until you finally got your act together a little while ago.

And the might and power of the young panthera coming through last 3 or 4 years has been the best in 112 years of the game. Unmatched. Superb. Picture perfect recruitment and retention.

And it’s all under threat.

It’s taken one of your own to do it.

We’ll friends meant nothing to Stephen Crichton.

The whole narrative around the friends thing was BS despite what was promoted by Lamback time and time again.

It is all about money, the whole taking less just to play with your mates is all fine and dandy but as we saw with Stephen Crichton it came down to 4 years and over $3 million. They’ll still be mates while Stephen enjoys his deal that sets him up for life. Good luck to him.

As an veteren Panther fan, you know the tragic and forlorn history of this club better than I do.

We were all talking about the sun setting on the dark and bleak days in the early 1990s.

The Penrith era was set to begin and never end.

Back into the darkness for decades apart from a few bumps and John Lang.

But this current era has exceeded all known expectations of all ages. So many wins, so many points, so much emerging talent. The whole game on its knees.

I’ve never seen or known such a dominant outfit in my life and I’ve never heard of it.

The term “smug” is quite a compliment I think. It properly reflects the incredible dominance of this, the Panther era.

A lot of fans, all clubs, they simply don’t understand just how remarkable this achievement is and I’m worried you don’t either.

And Gus, he knows the Panther story as well. He knows the hardships, ridicule and perpetual flogging you endured for decades.

The spoons, the bad luck, the stealing of players.

This makes his attack on you when you are at your peak, even more callous and remarkable.

The efforts of the panthers on the prowl, the mums and dads, volunteers, agents and scouts all mean nothing to him and his cronies.

It’s not business, it’s personal.

Youre clearly drunk on success, you’ve lost respect for the difficulty of the game and no offence, but it’s going to eat you alive.

If you were to ask Ivan how difficult it has been to produce these outcomes, he couldn’t even begin to nut out an answer.

These elite players you’ve punched out, they are generational. It has taken massive effort. You simply will not have this every year and forever.

You should respect and embrace the hard days, they should never be forgotten.

Gus has made some hard decisions about recruitment for us by signing Crichton.

Next cab (player) come to the front of the line now please....... :D

That's how the salary cap works.

Gus will now have to (with his latest signing) move on a lot of depth.

Paying top price for star players is not the way to build a roster. Look at the mess Hasler did at both dogs and Manly under this system. It doesn't work.

I think Silverdale your perhaps a little too deep into 'your cups' tonight.

I was there as a young teen when we lost to manly 70-7.

I have endured many more hard days than good days.

I think I am somewhat qualified to express an opinion around where we are right now.

I stand by everything I’ve posted.

A fair mix of fact and emotion Alice.

The panthers have always been an emotional club.

I don’t drink or take drugs so you need to be a bit more intuitive.

I like Killer, big fan, but I think he’s got his rose coloured glasses on tonight.

This dogs situation is not an exercise, it’s not a drill, it’s real you guys are the target.

That the entire league sees the threat and you guys don’t, it’s bewildering too me.

I've been a member and fan for well over 30 years. I know hard times, and good times.

With success the salary cap bites. Penrith being a development club, are in a far better position than many other teams in the NRL to deal with this.

I don't know what your aim is Silverdale sprouting all this woe is, and doom and gloom.

Frankly it's getting a little boring.

I don’t doubt your credentials, but I don’t see you deploying the lessons learned.

Gus took Freddy away once. That didn’t help the panthers very much.

If it’s boring, go and do something else.

Im not dooming or glooming, I want action to stop a bad scenario currently unfolding.

These players leaving are Uber elite and the chugging of beers and drinking of milkshakes does the club a disservice.

A lot of people agree with me that it’s a scandal.

You ignore this Gus attack stuff at your peril.

If I didn’t care, I wouldn’t say anything.

This sort of raid and it’s enduring consequences could wind you back years and years.

Thd dogs need to be pounded, Gus needs to be stopped pronto. Sue the useless selfish self aggrandising thieving prick.

@Aliceinwonderland , @jane the pain and @Kilkenny ; the ignore function is your friend. I am blissfully unaware that TSP and his alter ego Miga B even post on the panthers forum until good people like yourself (who I want to read from) respond to him.

He is a pain and you don’t need to explain yourselves to him!!

They can make up their own minds.

@Kilkenny is my friend and so is @MugaB.

Janey is ok when she is drunk.

This @ColdWetPanther spends half his day on the Wests Tigers Forum He must be lost.

He should be contributing to the discussion not criticising people, especially about things he’s not even reading. Very arrogant and ignorant position.

Even so, I don’t care if people read every post he’s ever made. Go ahead and engage with him,
