That was frustrating to watch tonight - typically they looked like a top 8 team against us but tonight was absolutely shit... last weeks loss hurts more now....

Anyway moving on, c’mon Panthers, good performance and result tomorrow night

The team/club believe now is the time to win it for us.

Penrith Panthers can keep premiership window open by staying in top four: Wallace

It is like I said all over the off season. People on here can think what they want about all sort of things but what the players think matters.

It is good to hear Maloney and now Wallace actually say we a chance in prior years been a bit like 'see where we finish' etc

Would prefer they think that way every year but anywho...

I have thought that too. But in reality how do players in teams like Bulldogs or Titans (2017 so far) make themselves believe it. Would have to be a tough job for a coach to motivate some teams, knowing they cant win the comp...

If playing footy is your "job" then how do you see it. Just a pay check?? You see it all the time, players improving as soon as their contract is up for renewal.

Do you think realistically Bryce thought he was going to be a chance to win the comp this year? Players give their all and want to win but they know. Guys like Ferguson, Woods etc have said they moved to win comps

It ain't easy. But if you think you can't then you are right.

I doubt Bryce even thinks he is first grade quality right now. He is a real mess.

I think that was due to the negative media they (the cowboys recieved during the week before our game) this put the spotlight on their performances.

In my mind I believe Thurston (wonderful player that he is) is playing injured along with Scott and Morgen. Both Scott and Thurston perhaps should have retired at the end of 2017.

With the win against Penrith last week, the pressure valve was released slightly and last nights performance shows that.

Pretty keen to see what heathro can do for the rest of the year. I think he is another good one.

I always think Players are the best judges. Last season Edwards was rated highly both Merrin and RCG said Hetherington was the one to watch. Gets that aggression controlled

Shawn Blore looks to be a very good prospect. Great build and has all the attributes to be a quality lock forward. Maurice Trindall is the son of former Panther 'great' Tricky Trindall.

Some good prospects in our side and equally some really good one's in the South Logan side.
