He played more minutes then Taupau on the weekend and less than half the metres gained

Analyse other packs compared to ours. Marty is a great forward but he's having to make up for a shit pack. We have an all round solid bunch of forwards now who are sharing the load more. In saying that I do expect more from RCG.

Jake T does similar numbers but we are better when we use our backs but still RCG is way down on where he should be

This is also another problem with such injuries
The promotion of rookies like Ellis is starting to have ramifications on the Panthers' salary cap for 2019 given player managers often insist on having bonuses written into many NRL contracts to incentivise their clients.
Bonuses which reward NRL debuts and players who reach milestones such as five or 10 NRL games need to be carried on next year's cap, payments clubs such as the Panthers couldn't have forecast given their injury woes.
Last night when I was going thru all these stats I thought the same, we spread the work load. Unfortunately, the theory isn't totally supported by the stats. Taupau's front row partner at the Sea Eagles Fonua - Blake - 420 minutes played. 103 runs for 1091 metres gained with 15 tackle busts and 3 offloads. Daniel Alvaro & Tim Mannah from the Eels both with better returns than our two top front rowers. Klemmer & Woods ranked 1 & 7 for front rowers.
If you accept the overall sharing of the workload theory then it is probably supported by the returns of our two back rowers in Kikau & Yeo who are currently ranked 1 & 3 respectively for metres gained.
I like RCG but it's contract time and I hope we are not offering him a mega money long term deal when he is not playing like someone truly worthy of such as deal.
well this is annoying. they've taken down the YouTube channel that had all the highlights from our under 20s players. that includes Edwards may luai Cleary etc. bloody nrl

Yes I’d also noticed it was missing. It had some great highlight packages. Was it an official channel or was someone running it themselves (hence probably taken down due to copyright issues?)
there have been so many montage pages not only on youtube but on instagram too that have been deleted. some big ones too. it sucks to see really.Yes copyright issues. Very shortsighted though. Highlights channels help grow the sport, fans often do it better and focus on specific things that the NRL will miss.
NBA for instance allows highlights from fans on YouTube. Perfectly fits their demographics and helps grow the sport.

Yet these are the three bottom teams, each with just 2 wins from 9. Clearly statistics are overrated.Last night when I was going thru all these stats I thought the same, we spread the work load. not really important but we do have a fellow panthers supporter who makes montages and has worked with panthers and the nrl. you might have heard of his instagram page - JP6 montages. a few of the panthers players follow himAgree, that is stupid on the part of the NRL. It isn’t like they lose revenue from someone hosting a channel that shows highlights of under 20s and developing players. It was hardly like the NRL was going to release the material itself on a DVD.
I can understand the position being different for highlights from current season or other recent matches, but junior games (that aren’t otherwise broadcast) is ridiculous.
We should raise a complaint about it.
Alternatively if we can still get the material we can load it back up onto a streaming service hosted in Russia, that will ignore all take down notices.
