There's more munutes playing for the Warriors, now that jack is back, and cannot continue due to his suspension, maybe Spencer can take over the loan spot jack had, that will gain him the experience points jane wants, without penrith panthers standing down our fit forwards, to give Leniu that extra he might well needs

I think Spencer will continue to see regular first grade. We will have injuries and need to rest players.

So your only rationale for wanting Leniu over Tamou or Tetevano is age?

This is the exact reason why we have no 300+ game players in our history - we're continually trading the old model in.

Luke Lewis left us at age 28/29, and played all of his best football with the Sharks. Paul Gallen won a premiership at age 34. Cooper Cronk won back to back comps aged 34 and 35.

Can you imagine if the Roosters decided to drop Cronk in 2018 and bring in Lachlan Lamb because Cronk was too old? C'mon Jane, get real.

I am entitled to my opinion. Just because you, obviously, don't agree with it.

Capewell and Tetevano are signed on for the same period as Leniu. Only Tamou is off contract.

You're fabricating scenarios that don't exist.

In your opinion.

You don't prepare for the future in the position we are. We should be going all out to win the comp.

If that 17 includes Spencer then so be it but I want to see do a few things first
In your opinion. Remember Tamou, Zane, and Capewell were rookies too at one stage.

We need ZT and Tamou. They bring experience, professionalism and are viewed in high regard by the playing group.

Capewell is a future representative player. He solidifies the middle third and has great cover defence. His edge attack with Martin and Kikau will be hard to beat.

I trust the club has a progression plan for the talent but there was a time where we couldn’t attract such players. Those senior players set a standard and that standard is winning us games.

In your opinion. Remember Tamou, Zane, and Capewell were rookies too at one stage.

Let's also remember that they all debuted at an older age, and still had to pay their dues.

Debut ages:
Leniu: 18
Tamou: 20
Tetevano: 20
Capewell: 23

Number of games in debut and sophomore years:
Leniu: 5 games (Rnd 21 - 25), and 6 games (and counting)
Tamou: 12 games (Rnd 8 - 26 in and out of team), and 19 games (only 2 starting)
Tetevano: 5 games (Rnd 20 - 25) and 13 games
Capewell: 4 games (Rnd 18 - PF in and out of team), and 16 games (playing Wing, Centre, Second Row, Bench etc)

Let's also look at how the teams that these guys played for were tracking when they came into the NRL
Leniu: Panthers finished 10th and currently 1st
Tamou: Cowboys finished 12th and 15th
Tetavano: Knights finished 8th and 12th
Capewell: Sharks finished 3rd and 5th

So we've got 3 players who all took longer to debut than Spencer. They were all eased into first grade from the bench, and not playing every week. And with the exception of Capewell they were all playing in average to poor teams.

Spencer has the luxury of playing NRL from the age of 18, gets to learn from 2 premiership winning props, and is on track on be part of a real premiership threat this year.

Personally, I think he's doing pretty well for himself already.

You can state 'this is my opinion' until the cows come home - but until you start to articulate WHY you have that opinion, people will continue to question those opinions.

Whilst we are waiting for the 4 O’Clock follies I thought I would put forward a reason we are doing well. Chaos is in the club’s DNA. Every year there is at least one scandal, incident, crime or misdemeanour involving a player, Ex-player or official. Penrith get more coverage on the backpage of the Tele from October to February than we do during the regular season. We don’t get overly perturbed when there is a photo of aPenrith player looking like a Gary Busey mugshot in the paper. We just carry on. This season belongs to us.

yes yes cause senior guys were once rookies...Best not pick them now

I have, time, and time, again.
Clearly my meaning is lost on you, once again.

It is kind off ironic there is generally less conversation and or posts during the good times as opposed to the bad times. I’m not sure what that says in the whole scheme of things but it is an interesting concept.
