If the time comes and we can't have Kenny and Salmon bench then Kenny will be in NSW Cup

If he's going to be the 9 next year he needs to be there sooner or later.

Haha you chump. We are cruising doing whatever we like. Not having that sexual offender in the way is helping actually, he played the total of 1 decent game in the last 2 years and that was a nothing game against the bloody Warriors

Salmon seems to be making a decent fist of playing in the forwards, but what happens if in an elimination final in the 2nd minute, Api goes down with a HIA and doesn't return. This is why Salmon and Kenny are needed at present, but it puts us at a major disadvantage in a big game, being a big body short. This is currently Ivan's biggest headache I feel.

No way Martin should be on the bench. Since coming here Sorro has been way more effective in the middle than on an edge. He is a really good bench middle who can play on the edge if needed, he is not a starting backrower. Martin is way better than Sorro as a backrower its not even close.

Martin is great in the middle but he is also great on an edge he is one of the better backrowers in the comp right now, much better than Sorro on an edge and Sorro's best position is the middle he has been great there.

Sorrenson is a bench player he has played all his best footy for us as a middle forward no idea why he would be the obivous choice to replace Capewell, he has never been very effective for us on an edge and Martin has been the back up backrower for the last two years. It was always a given he would take Capeys spot once Capewell signed to the broncos.

I am not against Martin in the middle but we dont have the depth in the backrow for it and our middle depth is pretty bloody good.

Every middle besides Leota and Fish is off contract

Hopefully get a bit more balance in the squad

But why though? That would move our second best 2nd rower Martin to the middle, to bring in another middle in Hopgood, whose best position is lock.

We are using Salmon as the back up edge forward right now, not knocking Salmon I actually think he is doing quite well there but it shows right now we dont have a lot of options there. In reserve grade Chris Smith and Riki are the starting edge forwards both on one year deals so its hard to bank on either of them. Smith is more depth and Riki looks to have some potential but is yet to debut or even come close.

Sorro is an option but I think the game gets a bit to fast and complicated for him on the edge. Backrowers need to be aware of a lot more in terms their role in the set plays, running inside or outside lines or decoys and they need to make a lot more defensive decisions, a poorly run line from and edge forward can ruin a great attacking chance and a bad defensive decision will lead to a linebreak or try, Martin knows the role and does it all well and can do it on either side. In the middle Sorro can just run hard and tackle hard which he has been really good at for us.

Manly use Walker and so on.
