Yeah if Kikau's replacement is already at the club then he needs to be playing asap. We'll go very close this year but next year will be a down year I'd say

Sharks got shown up playing McInnes in 2nd row

Rounds 9-11 will see where we sit. Hopefully by then the replacement is ready to go

IF we recruit from within only. We go back to Manly/Souths level as a mid top 8 side only

Can't have Kenny at 9 and expect top 4. Martin going in the middle would bring in Hopgood, who I think is NRL ready. When Yeo retires it's his job at 13, that's if he doesn't go to another club. Sorensen is listed as 2nd row on club website. Even still we need someone bigger playing prop (sharks squad).

Soro and Martin are better middles. We need to sign a backrower for 2023

That would be the best option I agree, but if we didn't a 9 is vital.
Both are. Luke isn't good enough, the narrative that he'll step up to first grade is very fanciful. For a game here and there maybe but his defence isn't up to a full-time gig and at his age it never will be

I've watched him a couple times this year in NSW Cup. He can thrive in attack, but in NRL level he would get owned in defence, probably injured in the process. My pick would be Verrills, Mccinnes type.
