Solo definately has the potential to make First Grade. Was outstanding in Mats last year.

Hope he does..Great kid - a local junior from down here.
His brother Moses is another good player also.
Solo is signed for the Panthers for 2010..

This kid has a real presence on the field at Mathews level, but he can't afford any growth spurts or will only be fit for gridiron.

Who were the standouts?

Has the final squads been announced?

How did the SG Ball go?

There weren't any real standouts

starting side was:

1.Robinson---Struggled for involvement
2.Moss---Average game
3.Wilson---One of penrith's best, got injured late in game
4.Heterick---Couldn't get much ball
5.Heather---Good solid performance
6.Tapuaga---Stepped up well in the halves.
7.Regan---Struggled to direct play
8.Tuivasa---Kept good form up
9.Nelson---Good consistant game
10.Doran---Worked hard in defence
11.Tavaale---Also worked hard in defence
12.Fatialofa---Struggled for involvement
13.Vave---Good offence

I think the player name is Tia Tuivasa a frontrower from St Marys. Maybe sweet-as can confirm this?

Yeh Tai does play for St marys, as does most of the matts forward pack. Although he has always been good, it seems like he's taken a step up in the last few months.

Looks like another year with little or no coverage of our Junior Rep's on PI. I will help out with Match Reports at the games i attend.

Mods would it be possible to please merge the SG ball and Harold
Matthews threads together. It would make it easier for everyone to comment on, with their season starting this weekend.

What do you expect, they have burdened one person with an enormous workload that centres around NRL and 20's that whenever the juniors play the NRL are somewhere else in the state and can't attend them. There are that many "support" staff with each of the teams that surely one of them can provide something to warrant their free tracksuit.
