Surely he will come off the bench in his first game atleast
that's only players that are currently contracted to an NRL club is it not?
That would be a ridiculous precedent to allow.
Listen snappy no other team gets more favours than the Broncos....All i said it would been a good idea that Newcastle would have his signature considering how Newcastle are performing this year.
Doesn't the NRL own the Titans?
A pro rata amount for the total yearly contract yes (1.2 million - 30 possible rounds/weeks = $40,00 per game. 9 more possible games/weeks. So a total of $360,00 towards the Titans cap is reasonable).
The total 1.2 mill towards the Titans cap, what a ridiculous, moronic sentiment.
Yep. Wouldn't be surprised if Hayne coming back meant he had to go to one of the clubs under NRL control.
Can he play this year?
So much for the 30th June deadline..Yeah I did know that the Newcastle was owned by the NRL, The Titans are playing well this year and the the future was getting better for the Titans, Unlike Newcastle surely the NRL had an opportunity to prop up this Club and it's playing roster...After you complained about the Titans being NRL owned. You know the Knights are owned by the NRL too right ?
The thing is... NRL ownership has nothing to do with this signing.

Because a team could sit below the salary cap most the year and then pay guest players for grand final appearances, or finals, or the run in to finals. It is a method to circumvent the purpose of the salary cap, the same as how back ended contracts and players signing contracts below their market value is.Why? It's exactly how it should operate.
