Beat me too it perverse!
I'm not fussed over it at all. He started on fire for the Panthers, but once he became a target he was just about a liability for them.Wish smith never let walsh go.
Yeah thats true but theres not much else out there. Is there anyone worth signing from the ESL for next season.I'm not fussed over it at all. He started on fire for the Panthers, but once he became a target he was just about a liability for them.
Well there we are all sorted LOLI am available for small change, I have Danny Wicks' physique and I am happy to do promotional work at McDonalds, Drink Coke but draw the line at Blue Tongue.
I will even hang out at Eveleighs Pie Shop so they will come on board as a sponsor...
I wish to announce that I am voluntarily terminating my playing contract. I have always had and will continue to have high regard for the Knights club, its supporters and its sponsors.
The Knights have a strict code of conduct which I have always supported. The club has taken enough hits because of these charges. Therefore, I feel obligated to disassociate myself from the club until my matter is resolved.
I hope by resigning and leaving the Knights that these problems will now leave the club and go with me so that my teammates will now be able to focus completely on the 2010 season without distraction, and that the club will remain strong and united. I sincerely hope that all sponsors and supporters remain faithful to this great club and region.

I don't feel sorry for him. At all. Not one bit. Maybe I'm being a bit harsh on the bloke, but he did lie to the club and dragged it through the mud again after the Wicks saga first broke. I'd really like to know what he thought he was going to achieve by not saying anything in the first place. He should know the truth always comes out, maybe not at first, but eventually it does.I actually feel sorry for the bloke, he is going to pay a hell of a price for a mistake. It will cost him two careers and god knows how much money.
Even if he's acquitted, its cost him dearly.
I wish him well.
I also reflected on the fact that this is year 9 of some pretty sh*t luck for the club. From bad injury plagues to key players, through scandals and coach related dramas, we really haven't caught a break since 2001.
The club has done well to survive all thats been thrown at it, but I do personally fear that its being worn down and every year without success weakens us even more.
Hmm yeah, no. Merged.i refuse to open the other thread again - so me and Ian will stay here thanks.
Well, on with the footy! The squad should all do themselves a favour and read Chapter 10 of Danny Buderus' book. If that doesn't motivate them and get them thinking about the team, club and community then they're f**ked! The "World's against us mentality" needs to be implemented ASAP by all involved with the squad and carried throughout the year. No more talk in the media about "how tough it's going to be" and "we've been through hard times before" and all the cliche's that players will use. I want to hear how they're pissed off with all the sh*t going down and have come together and can't wait to rip in and give it to the Bulldogs in Round 1!
