If he's back before round 10, it's a dead set gee up.

Without checking, England probably have 3 games or so at the end of the year. A couple of Bulldogs trials. a 10 game ban would see him back by round 5, or so...

Hope Slater went and got a rabies shot after that.

Maybe biting should be allowed. Gives a real incentive for the ball carrier to avoid being tackled.

How the f**k to trials count, know they do, just disagree.

Gee take a bloke out in the GF, schedule a couple of extra trials......what a load of bull.

Biting is as weak as it gets.

NRL suspensions should only count for NRL and origin matches IMO.

Yeah fine, the refs were good for most of the game. But that was yet another incident they got wrong. Blind Freddy could see Graham bit him and he should have been binned at inimum. Blind Freddy could see Foran knocked on. Blind Freddy could see Slater dropped the ball. And Blind Freddy can see the refs are incompetent.

smh

You think the refs clearly saw the incident when so much was going on at the time.

I agree.

Probably internationals as well.

Definitely not trials.

Shouldn't count for internationals I don't believe. NRL is a domestic competition with its own rules and regulations. You shouldn't miss and international for something that happened in NRL and on the other side you shouldn't have your suspension effectively reduced because of internationals.

Trials are nothing and he probably would only play 1 trial for 20-30 minutes anyway.

Fair enough. Would work out better for Kiwis that way.

Why Origin then?

It was the clearest biting offense I've ever seen in league... on an ear... in a final... with no provocation aside from Slater's mug. 12 weeks would be fair.

Downside to International problem. So what happens with foul play in one?

Does that suspension count in the domestic comp of the perp?

Say Graham bit Slater in an International, does he miss 12 internationals or 12 games in his registered comp?

Trials is just a joke. Rep games a tougher one.

love to see the mrc throw the book at him but i cant see it happening unfortunately. biting and eyegouging should always be send off offences and the video ref needs to be able to make the call

This has totally dominated the media today, the front page of the Age site has it.

All the breakfast TV mentions is the bite and then the GF.

f**king Chav Poms always ruin it for everyone else.

All day at work today instead of discussing an engrossing game, its going to be "Can you believe he bit him!"

It was pretty obvious the Refs wanted no part of a send off and was very quick to the report thing.
It shouldve been at automatic send off
That Pommy convict should be sent back to England on the Endeavour

Inu deserves some criticism for starting the original melee for what amounted to nothing

Fake Kiwi tough guy act for a guy who went missing when it counted.
