Inu deserves some criticism for starting the original melee for what amounted to nothing
Fake Kiwi tough guy act for a guy who went missing when it counted.
Inu the sucker has been in 4 losing Grand Finals

He only chewed Slater as he was stacked with nerves playing in front of 82000 on national TV.
Nothing in it.
If anything it was Stagg dragging Slater away by the throat that escalated the situation.
This x1000000000
Although Inu has come out and said he over reacted a bit, and perrett said there wasn't much in it

It started the whole thing though, without Inu shove, none of this happens.
There was no need for it, Slater did nothing illegal and Inu was just trying to act tough. He also pushed a player who was on his knees at the time, just a brainless thing to do really.
Than Stagg carrying on was a bit over the top also.
There was a touchie literally right there, but he seemed to look away when the bite happened. See no evil....
A Cronulla Shark NYC player bit the arm of Ligi Sao on a live broadcast game. Sao complained, refs met, saw clear teeth marks, put the Sharks dude on report... they showed the replays, bite was as clear as day, Hannibal Lector like.
The Sharks player got suspended for all of... one game.
Perrett did'nt care...good bloke.
Haven't looked closely at this particular bit, but at the same time that Slater was bitten the broo-ha-ha between Reynolds, Lowrie and co was just starting, so to blame him for looking away would be harsh in the extreme.
By the way someone else might be able to clarify, but I'm pretty sure that trial matches can only count as one game off your suspension. If memory serves me correctly Dane Hogan was suspended 2 years ago, and still missed the first couple of rounds because you can only count a single trial off the suspension.

Exactly...Inu did a Thaiday. Third man in and not even involved in the play. Slater had a right to react and IMO Inu started it.
