This is a stupid comment. Origin is getting a bit out of hand and NSW, Qld and the authorities are to blame. There is graphic footage of Myles leading with his head in a number of Origin matches. He doesn't do this for the Gold Coast. This is an appalling tactic and the review committee, it seems, have said nothing. Gallen should not have thrown punches at Myles and he should have got 10 in the bin. I don't like the way Origin is going and I have seen every game since 1980. The game is starting to look like thuggery. Both States have to get rid of the 'cheap shots' and illegal tactic. The Origin games should be refed like a club game. Keep a decent 10, markers must be square and if they move early penalise them.

Fittler, Johns and Sterling all appeared to be dumb-struck by Gallen's line he was taking and the self righteous tone. None of them agreed with his "I'm right and everyone else is wrong" attitude.

If he's trying to recreate the cross-State hatred generated by someone like Lewis, he's fooling himself.

NSW fans hated Lewis because he was such a dominating figure, not because he resorted to some self-righteous, hypocritical attitude toward the opposition, accusing them of something he's dished out in spades in the past.

It was Lewis' class that made NSW fans hate him. It's Gallen's thuggery that Queenslanders despise.
