Its gonna piss down in about 5 minutes anywayThis is f**ked. It’s not even dark or dangerous. No one has been hit. Barely any play and misses. Are they trying to kill test cricket?
Yea but they could have got 5-10 overs in before hand. Its gonna piss down in about 5 minutes anyway
are you wearing your pink undies ?
Ridiculous, it’s like they are actively trying to kill test cricket.
I don't think it has much left. Talking to a mate who is a school teacher he said no kids want to play it.

What, test cricket?
Without INDIA cricket would be dead.
This is f**ked. It’s not even dark or dangerous. No one has been hit. Barely any play and misses. The umpires obviously asked the aussies if they want to go off during the drink breaks for bad light. It’s no darker now than an hour ago. Are they actively trying to kill test cricket?
I know what the rules are. The rules are dumb. It’s test cricket. It should be a test. Not a batter’s paradise. Kids want to see an action. They use lighting level meters now and once it gets below a certain level, the umpire is obliged to ask the batting team if they want to continue, or not.
There is a certain level where they can ask the fielding team if they want to bowl their spinners, so no players can be injured, and strangely enough, the Saffas said no, so they left the field of play.
There is a lot of discussion about the lighting levels being lowered, as a lot of cricketers believe it's not dangerous to bat at levels slightly lower than the current level where the players can leave the field.
What's even more odd, all these grounds have lights.
Steve Waugh agrees with usI couldn't agree more.
25 - 30000 people turn up to watch a sport, and two people deem it is too dark to play, even though flood lights are on.
Are they going to refund 30-40% of the spectators ticket price because they can't provide a product?
They should be doing everything they can to ensure play continues, rather than the other way round.
The ICC and test cricket is shooting itself in the foot, because the other forms of the game will run their time and die a slow death.
Test cricket is the only form of cricket I can watch these days. Maybe some 1 dayers as well, but that 20/20 stuff is a f**king embarrassment to the game.
Why don't they use the Pink ball especially for the pink test...
