I still cant shake that f**kin ad he did for OLED TVs out of my head .... it was so bad it must have burnt a hole in my memory somewhere

Marnus is a true Aussie these days.

South Africa is one country i just havent got a grip on yet when dealing with people from there yet personally.

There is just this smugness about them and the way they go about things like there two-faced and can't be trusted.

Its funny we bag England all the time and call them poms and they love a whinge but most English mates i have met on tours are decent people when you deal with them 1 on 1. You still have banter but like us they love going for a drink and a good time.

Its when there is a wolfpack of 5 or 6 of them in nightclubs sunburnt with bumbags and loud around Europe is when there pain in the arse.

I could say i got on better with some Americans then i have South Africans during my travels.

There is one South African here in Sydney that we used to do work for in the past he was just an Egotistical utter f.wit. We stopped dealing with him now because its just too hard.

Speaking of ads, I saw a Toyota one yesterday which was the dumbest ad I've ever seen. The one where the kid likes basketball. Look out for it, and don't have anything in your hand when you watch it.

This doesn't make sense to me.
He is quite unliked by a majority of the Australian public. Why would you sign a bloke like that to your TV coverage?

Once again, the TV networks choose playing talent above TV-presenting talent for their coverage. It's why we end up with people like Blocker Roach, Justin Hodges, Andrew Johns, Darren Lockyer, Brad Fittler, etc on our screens when they are just aren't talented enough in that medium to do so.

Warner is quite a good commentator tbh, shits over the likes of Hodges, Blocker etc...

His role in sandpaper gate was stupid and dumb, and wouldnt have happened if the captain killed the thought when it was first raised.

Outside that, the hate for the bloke has been over the top imo

That may be so, and I agree that the hate is over the top.
Doesn't change that the hate is still there. I just find it odd that a TV network would choose to have such a polarising person on their coverage.

I guess it doesn't matter. People are going to tune into the cricket no matter who is commentating. They will just complain about it more.

I'm a fan too, a lot of bowling depth there too and can allow us a second spinner depending if the pitch dictates such a move
