Only a person with hair would ever dare say something like that....It's a great day to be bald.
Baldistan. It's a great day to be bald.
Any peanut can chuck a wobbly or a zinger and take 500+. Piece of piss.Only a person with hair would ever dare say something like that....
I'm a fan too, a lot of bowling depth there too and can allow us a second spinner depending if the pitch dictates such a move
He seems a likeable fella but IMO he is a beneficiary of the parlous state of international cricket, particularly the longer form. Yeah you can only play what's in front of you but go back a while to his debut and we all know he struggled against decent opposition....Has really stood up and at the moment is more consistent than anyone else on the side.
Uzi has said the armband was not a protest.
It was a personal thing.
I love Uzi, i think he was treated horribly throughout his career by the selectors some coaches and even captains. But yeah i'm not buying it. That said wearing a black arm. band is hardly a big deal. It's ok for some players to wear shitty sponsors on the back of their bats.Mmmmm.
He really seems like a genuine bloke.
Yet, I'm not sure about that.

Yep, why didn't he wear a shirt that the airport pushing his belief's inbetween tests instead of leaving it on the field??? He was swamped at the airport perfect chance for him to wear something and push his message then.I just think it was his kickback for not being allowed to wear his Palestinian supportive branded shoes.
Tbh, I love Uzzies passion for politics, but at the same time, I just think his sole intention should be to just get out there and score runs.
He can get into politics once he retires if that is what he is so passionate about.
He's being paid big money to be a cricketer, not a political activist.
Can someone explain to me - seriously - why Indian cricket fans deify Mahendra Singh Doni to such ridiculous levels?
I was browsing through Reddit, and someone made a compilation of some great dismissals that he made, and all the comments were saying he's not human, he's the GOAT, etc.
I think he was a fine player, but carrying on like he was the GOAT?
Gilly, and Sangakkara, were both better batsmen, and Gilly was just as good with the gloves - even better, imo, because he was keeping to the greatest spinner of all time, and one of the fastest bowlers of all time.
I remember a Tri-series final match from 6 years ago, or so, and Doni was super slow in his run chase.
He then unleashed in the final 10 overs - where India need like 16 per over to win -, and they all applauded him for getting India so close to a win.
He stuffed around for half his innings, ignoring singles, not playing shots... Pretty much cost them a chance at victory with his slow play... But they worship him like he's untouchable...
I honestly don't get it...
He is India's most successful captain by a long way
Captained India to their last 3 main titles
2007 T20 WC.
2011 ODI WC
and champions trophy in 2013.
Is the only captain to win all 3
plus has won 3 Asia cup titles
Despite stuffing up in some games for sure but he has also won a ton more of them in white ball internationals, Many we wouldn't know about or didn't see because it didn't involve Australia (but indian fans lived through them). Plus has won 5 titles with Chennai in the IPL
Hype is over the top for sure, but I do understand it considering white ball is a lot more popular over there
