Because, rightly or wrongly, the Raiders had planned the future around him. He had always said he would never leave the Raiders, even when negotiating a new contract he told them that he was as good as theirs, then come July 1st, 12:01am his name is on the dotted line for the Roosters.

The Raiders had let go a fair few of the fans favourites for this loser, and he spat in their faces. His reactions when he got to the Roosters ("It's nice to see how a good club trains") and his reactions on the field and towards the fans at any Roosters-Raiders game show why the hate continues. For a perfect example, cite his actions when he knew the Roosters were going to lose to the Raiders earlier this year - he wanted to fight with every Raiders player he came in contact with, for no good reason. In fact, his rubbish was what injured Michael Weyman and ruined his season.
