Think we deserve a top 4 spot tbh, rain affected game that was 50/50 lost on D/L, close game with Aust, pretty close with India, and pounded by RSA... But if Pakistan can beat England by 300, good luck to them

India a step ahead of the rest in the pool play, but the knockouts should be fun.

They say you Kiwis always punch above your weight.

New Zealand if they make the semis as expected are still equal with Australia all-time on semi finals appearances at ODI WCs with 9 SFs appearances from 13 tournaments.

India have 8
Pakistan & England have 6

England though have only made semis once since 1992 and the one time they did they managed to get the trophy in 2019.

Seems unfair the Kiwis didn't win it in 2019 when you consider the Kiwis have made the Semis in every WC since 1999 in every World Cup except 2003.

Afghanistan win gives us a chance to come 2nd and a higher seeding if we beat Bangladesh.

In case we have a Tie like 1999 or possible rain.

Preferable to be the higher seed unless there is an actual super over for a tie.

Not sure if that's been changed i know in 2015 it wasn't there.

The semi will be at Eden Gardens, Kolkata have we played there since the 2001 disaster.

definitely one of the 4 best teams - bit strange in that it's been off the back of brilliant individual performances, but in knock out games anything can happen - hard to see India not winning, but in a strange way India and definitely RSA are a bit dodgier in knock outs
