the dream of been the worlds best FB hasn't worked out for him as its obvious hes not a FB at all -with the dream dissolving hes finding it hard to deal with - get back in the centre and get a new focus - top try scorer for instance and put the FB dream to bed- its over

Souffs dont have the balls. To be fair many other clubs wouldn't either. Imo it needs to come from someone he genuinely loves and respects. Parent, close relo, Elder or whatever.
The signs were already there at Easts and they released him with a year to go on his contract. Would like to think if Artie was still with us that it could’ve been avoidable, perhaps even extend with us and be the best centre he could be. South’s is a club with a peerless indigenous history, surely there’s somebody there that could have a word and he’d listen to

I do feel for LM a bit, despite being in his mid 20s he is still a kid. Unfortunately a very talented kid that it appears has never had to deal with consequences.
The work he does off the field is generally ignored and this is because his on field behaviour often crosses the line of arrogance.
I am quite sick of the racial card being played by the media its sick boring click bait journalism.

The other thing is that souffs forwards are not coping as much as they deserver, they are terrible and nothing happens when your forwards are letting you down.

I agree but fame f**ks people. I wonder what trajectory his career would’ve taken if he went to another club other than Souths. He was already becoming a voice for a marginalised group, put him in at Souths with a deep indigenous history of its own and his status goes to cult level. Bound to go to his head. The line between where his duties/responsibilities that lie between club (who pay his bills) and his community who depend on him gets blurred. Form dips as a result and frustration/stupidity ensues. I honestly have no idea and can’t fathom how we got to this. Wasted talent.

Probably a fair point about the forwards. To some extent LM is just doing what he’s always done which is to get involved when he feels like it. Anyone who has watched him closely off the ball would know that he’s never been a high work rate player, to put it mildly. But he’s always been in successful teams who have been able to carry that. Not the case now in a struggling team.

Yes, very true. Latrell's style means he plays better in better teams. Latrell Mitchell is better off in a team where he is the second banana.

At Easts when Latrell helped them win two premierships and when he stars for Australia, Champion fullback James Tedesco is the No 1 man and so Latrell just has to do the basic instinctive things which he is brilliant at and let Tedesco lead.

At Souths, Latrell has to be the leader as well as the instigator of the play which he struggles with.

Plus, Latrell Mitchell is extremely Woke so he doesn't take well to any form of criticism at all.

It sounds like old mate Latrell has had a full Woke melt down in front of his team mates.

An “apologetic” Latrell Mitchell has addressed his costly three-match suspension with teammates as Rabbitohs players say they have to take more accountability as pressure continues to mount on coach Jason Demetriou who is fighting to save his job.

Great mate Jack Wighton wasn’t in a mood to discuss Mitchell’s actions.

“If you want to ask Latrell questions then you can talk to Trell,” Wighton snapped back.

“I’m here to talk about me and what I can do for the team.

“I am a mate (of his) and a mate protects a mate by not talking about him.”
