Is Latrell Mitchell overrated?

Thats not what woke means.

Thats what it means now.

It started out meaning being "AWAKE to injustices".

But the problem for the Woke generation is that there are so many injustices in the world, you can't be "awake" to all of them.

For instance, HAMMAS and Israel. Both sides are at fault.

And big Corporates have taken the idea of WOKE and used it in the exact opposite way it was intended. To make money for themselves.

So now we have a bunch of WOKE people who make up about 15% of the population who think that everyone has the same opinion as they do and they will hold their breath or protest or sook and moan till they get their way and they get all the publicity.

Mainstream Media, Big Tech, Big Pharma and yes, all the Big Corporations plus all Governments and the donors that pay for both parties "it's not a political issue just a lifestyle" have used this to control the population and spread fear and call everyone Racist and Sexist and everything else under the sun. We didn't have any of this in the 80s, 90s, 00s and people got along with each other, big and large, about the same.

Meanwhile normal people are too scared to say "Enough is Enough!"

But back to Latrell.

This could be a big turning point for him.

As people have said, he is only 27.

He has already lived a million rugby league lives.

Premierships at Easts, Origin Star, Tries in World Cups for Australia, representing his people.

But he is also injury prone.

And he is trying to do too much at Souths.

He needs to be given a kiss and a cuddle by a coach but also be disciplined when he doesn't do the little things that lead to success.

They are saying Mal Maninga might come into Souths for the rest of the season and that would help Latrell a lot, I believe.

Let's hope Souths get it right because potentially Latrell can just wallow away for the next 5 years and still have had a pretty good career.

Or, he can go back to being his explosive self.

For NSW Oriign sake, I hope it is the latter.

Watching Latrell at his best is as good as Rugby League gets.

Can't say I agree with you at all. He has the personality of cancer, he'd destroy a team . There's a reason Roosters let him go. Not worth the money.
