I'm starting to feel sorry for him. I wouldn't mind seeing him turn Canberra into a success. Let him see out his 3 years. See what happens.. Maybe he knows what he's doing lol

It is becoming worse than a bad joke. Needs rep players? Panthers are going ok. Our best player is the 4th best hooker for QLD.

Ricky's basically saying that he needs another Phil Gould/Graham Murray coached side with Freddy Fittler in his prime to walk into, he'll keep crying until he gets another set up like that.

Some of you guys really need to give the guy a chance, seriously any coach that would be coaching raiders right now would be struggling with the team he has at the moment full of plodders and has beens like Campo would wont retire.

He has tried to recruit to start the fix but no one wants to come to canberra for what ever reason, so put yourself in his boots he is trying his hardest to turn things around.

The Raiders have never had a superstar team yet their other coaches have at least been able to make them competitive at home and even make the finals every second season. The most amusing part of all this is the length of the contract which means the Raiders are unlikely to be able to pay him out.

Its the way the merkin goes about it; you don't see many other coaches if any come out and openly say they need heavy recruitment to win some games, better off backing the players you have.

'Trying his hardest' - very high up on any NRL coach's KPIs.

You'd have him in Brisbane if Uncle Wayne all of a sudden not to come, would you?

That's the most hilarious part. Canberra will be a cold corpse before they can get rid of him.

For the sake of the clubs health and their fans sanity, they have to cop the financial whack and lose him like a bad cold.

Hahaha. That might be ol' Rick's next caper, car salesman.

But then after a crap year of sales he'd march up to the boss and let him know there's no way he can make any sales until he gets a few prestige European models in the yard. Never mind that he can't shift the Datson 120Y for a fiver.

If Ricky loses to the Sharks to go to last place then loses to Parra in Round 26 to seel the spoon he would have to be a high risk of being sacked. His last two clubs where he failed putting the final nail in his Canberra coffin would be a fitting farewell to his coaching career
