yeah, you just need to upgrade it every 5 minutes :roll: pc's are a great investment ... every game that comes out you need an better graphics card of higher ram

oh and it makes him a fan boy because he's jocking ps3 ... i'm not a fanboy because clearly i stated i'm pissed off with sony's jerking of australia ... see the difference? now off you go to the canteen

BTW my pc cost me 1000 2 years ago it plays all the modern games it also has all my movies and is doing more then an xbox or ps3 would be doing so yeah need to upgrade all the time will also last me longer then 5 years unlike ps3 xbox ect..

But if i was to choose out of xbox and PS3 i'd go the PS 3 with all the added stuff you have to pay for on the xbox would turn me off...

I've recently started having an issue with my 360... i bought NBA Live 09 the other day, and every time I have played it so far, after about 30 mins or so the quality of the graphics just cuts out. It looks likes a tv program from 30 years ago, with faded colours and blurriness.

Do you think this would be something wrong with the NBA game or something is wrong with the Xbox and its just coincidental that it started happening when I got this game. I've had no red rings though.

Oh and just while I think of it an update installed itself when I put in the disc... perhaps it could be that? Has anyone else had a problem like this?

At least you are honest enough to admit it. There are some people out there (fanboys) who would have had RROD and just pretended like they didnt.

At least Microsoft will fix it for you.

It's in warranty by about 3 weeks i think :crazy: It wasn't 3 red lights, just one. So i don't think MS's extended warranty covers it.

Oh my god, I'd heard about this RROD but never thought it was this bad, I've had a PS3 for 12 months and keep it running all day, use it to watch dvd's etc, it's still fine. I was going to get myself a xbox because they're so cheap, just bought my brother one for xmas but now I wish I hadn't. Anything that you have to send back to the manufacturar is not worth pissing on, If I had of heard of 3 people sending theirs back for repairs I would be of the same opinion, but ffs, it looks like every xbox owner on this forum has had to send theirs back at least once. What a sh*t machine.

Mine took less than a week. I was very pleased with how fast it got done It really boosted Microsoft's standings in my books.

so the fact that you got your 400 dollar (plus) console back from the repair shop in aless than a week BOOSTED your impression of Microsoft???

IMO the RROD is a f**king joke and microsoft are cheapskate pricks for allowing such a poorly tested and ill designed unit onto the market place.

Who cares if they give you the postage fee, the simple fact is your unit should never be going back to the manufacturer.

We never had this probalem with N64s or NES or Sega mega Drive.

Why are console makers these days sauch merkins?

Wouldn't worry to much mate the newest models out and about now are far more reliable.

i had to send my 360 off to get fixed. was returned in two weeks in perfect working order. and i believe they do mods to stop other problems occuring in the future. so yeh, them breaking down is an inconvenience, but you cant ask for better service then that
