I do get excited about a spine of
1. Edwards
6. Luai
7. Cleary
9. Katoa/Egan
That at it's potential is pretty fantastic.

https://wwos.nine.com.au/2018/07/07/07/34/nrl-the-mole-penrith-panthers-hands-off-jarome-luaiIf there a link to the article Jane? Everything I have searched I found Luai was off contract at the end of 2018.
That post 2020 would be the dream spine.
Cleary remined me of a younger Pearce. I wouldnt be throwing 1 million at him.
Maloney is miles above at moment.
Well given their age differences, and experiences, that is expected.Cleary remined me of a younger Pearce. I wouldnt be throwing 1 million at him.

Probably aren't that many half backs in the NRL who aren't on close to or more than 1 million that is just the going rate and more than a few are not as good as Cleary who is only going to get better.
If he can play like that every week he's another Ponga. Can't keep them all but I would like to keep Luai.

Maloney explained the reason he asked for Peachey there was to straighten the attack up with his running game. Jarome is nicknamed Romey because he's a halfback that loves to roam across field like DCE.What a dud call to play Peach at 5/8 for half the year
So is James on the coaching staff now?Maloney explained the reason he asked for Peachey there was to straighten the attack up with his running game. Jarome is nicknamed Romey because he's a halfback that loves to roam across field like DCE.

There was once a coach named George Piggins who was asked by a reporter something along the lines of "you're listening a lot to that player Phil Gould." And he replied "I'd listen to the devil if it wins me a premiership." Whatever works. So is James on the coaching staff now?
There was all this talk in the media a few months ago about who's coaching the team but we were winning at the time so most fans didn't care at all. It really doesn't matter as long as we're going well.Maloney is experienced enough to know what works for him as a player/ Gee folks need to calm down the 'blame game' which seems to be so much in vogue.

Maloney hasn't won so many games with his speed and power. Players like him are successful because they're very smart when it comes to footy. Even in general you can see it in his interviews, he's pretty sharp. It'd pretty stupid to ignore a player as experienced as Maloney and we won games.
The exemption being is when James opened his mouth to reveal the Gus is trying to arrange his third party deals. That was stupid on his part.Maloney hasn't won so many games with his speed and power. Im not sure I've ever seen Peach run straight.Maloney explained the reason he asked for Peachey there was to straighten the attack up with his running game. Jarome is nicknamed Romey because he's a halfback that loves to roam across field like DCE.

What Jimmy actully did was publicly back his coaches call
