So after London, I'm thinking that Hayne is 50/50 to make the Olympics squad. From there I think that he'll only play the minnow countries and won't figure in the medal matches. Having said that he'll still get a G/S/B medal for being in the squad.
Haynes problem is that his aerobic fitness is poor (can be fixed), his knowledge of the game at breakdown does not exist (steep learning curve, but lucky for him Fiji don't place a great emphasis on the breakdown) but his biggest problem is that most of the squad possess the 2009 Hayne-like mad skills or even better. For that reason I reckon that he's only 50/50 to go to Rio.
