Be interested to know what the Falcon means? Thought he may have continued using the Plane as a reference of somesort.

i thought it was a plane from the logo but that image has some bird style wings behind him.
On another note how would this image rights thing go if he were ever to return to the NRL. Not that it's likely he would

The Hayne Plane has well and truly lifted off and now Seven is looking to hitch a ride on the former Parramatta Eels star's wings.
Seven, which holds the rights to three National Football League Sunday games per week as part of a five-year deal signed in 2014, will broadcast 14 San Francisco 49ers regular season games live on 7Mate. Each NFL team plays 16 games per season. ESPN will broadcast the other two games.

It is understood that Seven was waiting to see if Hayne made the cut at the 49ers before moving quickly to secure as many games as possible.
"Jarryd Hayne is one of the great stories in sports. We are delighted to be partners with the NFL in Australia. And we are so pleased to have secured so many of the 49ers games for 7mate," Seven's head of sport Saul Shtein said.
"We look forward to following Jarryd and also expanding coverage of the NFL across our broadcast platform. It will be a great season of NFL."

Yep.
The NRL should really be looking into cutting down on the amount of games as well.
Makes every game even more meaningful. Hard to have a few poor games and then still make the playoffs.

I used to be very against less games for the NRL but as the Eels have been so shit the last 5 years I have changed my mind. Would be a great idea for so many reasons.

Will never happen though because they'll lose too much money.

Only because they have gone for quantity over quality.

16 game regular season is why each NFL game is such a big deal.

And yet teams with 50/50 records still make the play-offs (and in rare cases a team with a losing record makes the playoffs).

There's no magic number of games. There are much greater potential imbalances in the draw in the NFL.

The fact there are only 4 teams in each division cause that issue. The Panthers got in with a 8-7-1 record last year or something and the Eagles (and others) missed out who had a better record.

Player burn out and injuries are a good reason to reduce the NRL is the only thing I think.

I can't argue with that Baz.
There is definitely an imbalance in the draw each year. The Niners have a tough one this season playing the AFC North teams plus they are in one of the toughest divisions themselves - have to play Seahawks, Cards and Rams twice each.

But that's because there are just so many teams over there.
Not as much of a problem here. Each team plays each other once, then have the Finals.
No divisions or conferences. Just straight-up wins and losses.
