Whatever happens, he's owed more than $100m.
And people complained about Sandow

Parra should chase Kaepernick.
Over-rated imo.
Nah, not even close.
A 2nd year QB. He is doing excellent. He has not been blown out in any game this year. Ive seen a lot of NFL. You do realise it takes a QB about 3 full seasons in the NFL before they can read the game well. And most dont peak untill close too 28-30.
Look at brady without Gronk and Amendola. Looks ordinary. The eagls beat them.
Sometimes a QB will look better in a good team and system. Carr doesnt force the pass and makes good reads. And will improve a whole heap in 2 more years.Franchise him and build your team around him.....
Td's - 30 - Ranked 6th
Intercepts - 11.....
Wouldn't the coaches just say the time Hayne spent on the PS is the reason he played so well?So 49ers sign a RB from the Ravens practise squad. OK Hayne fumbled a few times and can't read blocks, 49ers are crap anyway, surely for the sake of the fans they could give him a run.
If Hayne by chance did have a decent game, it would make the coaches look stupid.

While Hayne may greatly interest fans in Aus, he is a 4th order issue in the US. Sure, the AUs press will selectively drag up whatever comments from 9ers fans they can, but they also ignore comments from fans who are realists. If the 9ers don't think he's up to being an NFL running back yet, it's not surprising that they don't want to play him (yet). He hasn't shown that he can protect the QB yet, and as a 3rd down back that is crucial.
I've been watching my beloved Raiders since 1995. So f**k off with this attitude.
I've also been watching Carr since his days at Fresno.
I don't think he will get any better. He's average.
A while back, people were excited about Kaepernick, too...
Just go onto the 49ers Facebook page where they announced the signing of this new RB, majority want Hayne. That's not the Aussie media, it's the 49er fans.
Do you reckon that fans who think otherwise will bother posting to say 'fair enough decision'? Until Hayne can (at least) protect the QB, they ain't going to play him (unless they can't cover PR position as well). The coaches reckon he is not ready. That is no criticism of Hayne, it just seems to be a realistic appraisal of the situation. What would they learn by playing him? That he can do some good things (maybe) and some bad things in a bad, beaten team?

Kapernaick looked good in a great team.
Carr looks good in an average team. And did well last year in a horrid team.
Your welcome to your opinion - Id have him at Phili in a heartbeat thou. People where questioning Cam newtown prior to start of this year as well.
Im not alone in my thoughts thou -

I understand you have been watching for a long time. Longer then me but i have an extremely HIGH IQ. I can pick things up twice as fast as a lot of people and three times quicker then your average Joe. I worked out a rubik's cube in just under 2 mins as a 4 yld .
I am not saying your an average Joe but just that my opinion is a higher chance of being correct then yours that's all.
What is he doing there?
He's learning the game that he wants to play. I'm pretty sure Hayne knew he'd be starting at the bottom when he decided to head over there.
As much as I'd love to see him out there on the field for the Niners, it is probably in the team's (and his) best interests to have him on the PS.
And risk him having some good games then losing him in free agency.
Honestly the lack of knowledge in this thread is hilarious. The 49ers can't promote him, or they risk losing him.
I suggest some people who are saying they are idiots look at how the whole practice squad, waivers system works in the NFL. Hayne is no chance of getting promoted this season (maybe the last game, but for what purpose?), what they have done is very deliberate and they intend on signing him to a futures contract (or practice squad) for next season.
If Hayne were to be made 'active' this week, he would be ineligible under NFL rules to ever be in the practice squad again (too many weeks in the squad and potentially too many weeks active on game day). What does that mean? He hits free agency, can sign a futures contract but cannot train with the squad. It also gives other teams a peak into his development and gives them the option to sign him.
So the 49ers have a lot to lose by promoting him, and nothing to gain.
He wasn't even good in the games he played anyway. He has a long way to go before he's a bona fide NFL player, and being active on gameday isn't necessarily the best path to get there.
