Penrith Panthers 28 (tries: Jarrod Sammut 3, Charles Enosi, Wade Graham; goals: Sammut 4/5) Canberra Raiders 20

Good win for Penrith, travelling down to Canberra and beating the 3rd placed side.

Sammut again showing why he should really be in First Grade, not the Flegg captain.

Wade Graham the 16 year old sensation made his debut in Flegg, scoring a try and creating another. Graham and Sammut should be Penrith's long term halves combination.

Knights had a 14 - 6 win over top placed Parra.
The Knights have had quality backs and forwards but hopeless halves all season but the SG Ball halves combination of Stig and Wyborn came together in Flegg for the first time this season.
Other players like Jenkinson, Cooper, Jeans, Richardson and a few others are much stronger after mid season strength training.

Knights lost their postponed game v wests 42-26 i think.
Apparently the Knights went with a side full of benchies and SG Ball players, which is kind of odd because they have the bye this weekend. The guys would have played two games in four days, but then they would have had a week and a half off - as it is they are giving the good players two weeks off.

Magpies flogged easts on friday night at Telstra.

Can't recall exact score: 46 - 18???

Easts finished with 11 men, one in the bin and one sent off with 5 to go.

Magpies looking quite good.

William Mataka and Wade Dunley had big games as did the number 4.

Penrith play Norths tonight at Penrith Stadium. A win will see Penrith wrap up the minor premiership.

Penrith will also look to capitalise on the Bulldogs losing both PL and Flegg on the weekend, as the race for the club championship hot's up.

Penrith sealed the minor premiership last night with a comfortable 40-0 win over the Bears. It was almost a second string Penrith side, but they were still too good.

If Penrith had two teams in the Flegg comp, i have no doubt the 2nd team will be a top 8 team.

The match saw the debut of the 11th SG Ball player used this year for Penrith. Unbelievable really, considering we only used 3 last season.

Penrith Panthers 40 (tries: Sonny Tuigamala 2, Greg Waddell 2, Jarred Cannon, Sam McKendry, Chevvy Penehoe, Joseph Paulo; goals: Paulo 4/8) North Sydney Bears 0
