The scary thing is we are either getting flogged or at best narrowly getting beat.Yes we might snag a win but we are so far away from actualy wining a game cumfortably its a joke..Is a 2 point win realy where we want to be every week? Thats just making us level pegging.
Where in a lot of trouble and at the moment i dont se how we can get out of it till maybe 2014

bartman, I respectfully disagree. We (fans) do have a tendency to scapegoat - we blame whoever is in charge or any halfback for not being Sterlo.
No worries about disagreeing pk. Our fan base is very diverse and hard to generalise about, so it stands that we'll have differing opinions on the state of our club. I think that's ok, and what the forum is here for.

To be fair, it's been vindictive on this forum at least.
This forum seems the most tolerant toward SK's performance out of the various ones I've read? I don't think it's vindictive toward SK, but I agree that there's been vindictiveness between posters here (especially whenever some don't recognise that there will be a range of different valid opinions held by fans, and start name calling each other or claiming things about being a true fan etc). I think the vindictiveness between posters is main underlying negative energy here, rather than any real vindictiveness toward any particular players or coaches.

Sure, SK probably isn't that good and he hasn't got the best out of the team he is building, but I just can't see any benefit in sacking him now.

Everyone is hurt but it's a case of holding on - now is not the right time to cut our loss IMHO.
Fair enough point of view. I just respectfully disagree, and can't see any benefit in continuing to build the loss(es) for the remainder of this season and the next.

My prediciton is we will beat sharks who will be under strength. The pressure valve will be released off SK for 3-4 more weeks.

If Parra dont want to waste $450,000 by sacking Kearney a year out from his contract expiry, I think they should just hire a new coach and find another role for Kearney from Monday to Friday.

furthermore I say give Kearney Brett Kenny's old job, picking up bark in the carpark. Surely he couldn't ruin that job

They should do what Adelaide United tried to do with Rini Coolen and 'promote' him to Head Coach of Hedge Clipping Affairs or something.

Where's everyone who keeps saying we had such a s**t year in 2010. Over 2011-2012 we're still 3 games away from matching our total wins in the 2010 season.

Yes, yes but results don't matter, remember? It's all about changing the structure and the losing culture....and the 5 year plan...

I hate the idea of us changing the coach AGAIN but, in this case, we need to address the monumental f#ck up that was the hiring of the ex-Melbourne Scum water boy. Nothing personal against Mr Kearney. I am sure he is a great bloke and I do not blame him for taking the opportunity that was presented to him (on a silver platter) but the season is GONE. He has failed AGAIN. Seriously, does ANYONE see us winning another 11 games this season (just to finish on 28 points)???

Sorry, "lads", but I have had enough of this farce. If anyone thinks being in contention for the wooden spoon 2 years running is progress, they are kidding themselves.

Thing is, if they are paying him 450k to be gardener that's still wasted money... If they could drop his pay packet by 400k while demoting him it'd be a different story.

They are going to have to pay him $450k regardless. I say have him work for it, rather than just pay him out so that he can sit on his backside doing nothing for the next 18 months.

There has to be another position for him at the club, and best case result with that demotion would be him quitting then it would cost Parra nothing.

I spose if they made him rake leaves in the Parra Leagues carpark it could embarrass him enough to quit and thus the club avoid a payout. He can't hide from the general public who want to hurl abuse at him In that job either.

This whole 5 year plan is a load of crap. Who have we signed for next year and beyond? Only one of note is Hopoate (who will need some time to get back into the swing of things).

I mean this is not like the NFL, NBA or even AFL where there is some thought of parity by awarding the woodenspooners with the first pick of each round for a draft where they can at least build for the future.

Our future is bleak and I can see the dark days of the mid 90s' coming.

That way he could clear out all the dead wood in the club. That would keep him happy.

Yes. Let him build some sort of little structure at the back of the car park. Let him take 5 years to finish it if he wants.
