Too many drugs Casper...unfortunately...
Even take Viagra these days to stop me falling out of bed....

:lol::lol::lol:

I would have thought taking Viagra would have gotten you to invest in a choker lead to control and train the old old fella from dragging you around home and around Hay.

How would you like to be playing alongside some of the Eels supporters? How would you like to be in the trenches with them?

THEY can't hack it, and they pay out on the players. Go with the flow kids, go with the flow. There is a lot more balls to be kicked in this competition before it becomes a lost cause.
Harden up...H A R D E N up....If you can't ...bail out now, and get on the Dragons bandwagon.
No room for "good Time charlies..take the good with the bad"

Keating? The guy that tried to cost us a game by butchering a certain try with a 5 metre forward pass?
Yeah enjoy the doggies Chris.

If the opportunity is still there bring back Tim Smith on apprentice rates. He will be a HUGE bonus to this club.
The club had a chance to take him last year and chose not to, officially ruling it out if I recall.

Tim Smith has too much baggage to come back to the Eels and succeed, he has performed worse than Robson during his recent stint in Super League (and was ousted due to the form of some young kid coming through at Wigan).

Tim Smith has also left his last three contracts early (us, Wigan, and Brissie Easts assuming he does leave them for Cronulla). You can't build anything about someone who has left contracts early three times - that's a worse record than Lyon!

Again, facts are not your strong point are they?

Big lulz at the thought of bringing Tim Smith back and us winning anything.

Parra fans have no patience and epically short memorys. Robson doesn't even play bad in the first few games and your calling for his head, funny the same people who were praising him in the good times are quick to wanna send him to the scrap heap.

Stick with Robbo, he is playing with insane amounts of heart and doing his best. The dudes around him on 300+ should step up.

Add even B;lake Greeen to that list, but don't worry because our 7 can tackle.

Unfortunately he would noy get a start at any other team in the NRL, but lingard and others tell us that he is Ok. He has no kicking game, no running game, a slow passing game but can tackle. To be honest even the out of favour Tim Smith is a better option

This is not personal, so examine what we have, we may need to go out and sign a 7 , but that is next year. Under super coach we let Maloney, Green and Hodkinson go to keep Finch, does anyone realise what a mess he made of our club.

If it`s not personal (which it shouldn`t be) why use my name?
Anyway, a couple of points I`d like to make.
1. Robson is in NO WAy as bad as you make out. In the last three games he has put in some really nice kicks - a couple of which led to tries, and a couple of which nearly did. He handled twice in the movement which Jarryd Hayne was mostly credited for in setting up Grothe`s try against Manly. And so far this year he`s played behind an under-performing pack. He has so far outplayed Mortimer and Kris Keating. (Despite the fact that Keating LOOKS GOOD.)
2. In any case, I am beginning to think (in other words, I`m beginning to agree with you and others) that we could do better with a different style of half-back - one who is faster and more individually dynamic. BUT, I don`t think Keating is the one and I don`t think Mortimer is the one.
3. I still firmly believe that we can win this comp with Jeff Robson at half, IF and when the forwards start to gel and we start the off-loading game again.
4. It really irks me that people can`t wait to jump in and announce that "changes need to be made" the minute things don`t go the way they want them to. There`s nothing worse for morale.

Well , as a point , my son coaches juniors at the moment and was a junior rep player. We had a long chat after the game, and spoke to some junior coaches on Saturday morning too.

No matter what we all believe, the only other 7 that takes 2 steps to pass is Kimmorley, but he runs at the line and generally passes in motion, our 7 takes 2 steps sideways and tends to look and pass and we lose any momentum and our runners are easy targets. We went back and checked last years run, Robson essentially played as a second dummyhalf with catch and pass.

Look, hopefully things turn around, but he is the most limited half back in the comp and we need all other players to fire because as a 7 he cant guide the team anywhere. That is the issue, and I firmly believe that , happy to be proved wrong, but I can't put my head in the sand and say it doesn't present a problem .

What i don't understand is some of the lack of support for Robson or KK?

Delboy has been very constructive in his criticism of Robson and what he says is actually true but some of the other dribble about these 2 players is just that, dribble!

Why do you have to hate either one? I don't get it? Why all the hate? Can't we support the players?

I just don't understand the constant death riding of players in an Eels jersey?

As soon as someone says they like a player who has direct competition for a position (like the halves) it seems someone comes in and rips into that player and favours the other.

Why do people do this? Everyone has a right to an opinion but damn some of them just seem like they are expressed purely because another person is singing their praises.

KK has NEVER been properly given a go in his natural position not because he isn't good enough but because there has been Smith or Finch there and then he got injured just has he earnt the position. Robson then steps up and again KK is left waiting.

That is certainly not Robsons fault either!

KK is still very new to the NRL and the coach is easing him into it as they do to most plus it doesn't help that he is clearly versatile! Mortimer didn't get the luxury to be eased in last year due to our injuries and he managed to grab it with both hands.

I agree with Delboy in his summation of Robson, however i would like to see the forwards play much better before we even think about replace him as i don't think even Thurston could work miracles with how we played on Friday night and how good the Tigers actually were.

the style of game we play takes a little time ,it mainly consists of confidence and momentum , i have full confidence in Danial Anderson and our playing roster .

if keating goes ,good luck to him, hes a good little player, if he's not happy at our club he is better off elsewhere.

I believe Hodkinson is a true halfback, as was Tim Smith. Green, KK, Mortimer and Kelly are all 6's imo.

I cannot believe we lost Hodkinson, he and Keating have great history together as a half and five eight combination!!!!

Hagan was the worst thing to happen to this club in decades!!!!!

We kept Finch, FMD!!!!!!!

Agree 100% with this. Hokko was the only true 7 at the club (along with Maloney, I guess) at the time of his signing elsewhere...he'll be a great player for Manly and IMO has already shown more than KK and Morts in terms of playing halfback. It went under the radar because of the hype over Williams leaving but this could be the worst thing Hagan did at Parramatta IMO

Regards to Hodko and Maloney, they were under the watch of supercoach and daisy. I understand that they were asked by the lower grade coaches to conside them for higher level, but they did not want to move Mr Finch (being a newie boy I guess).

They paid little interst to Wenty and/or the NYC and we have reaped the dividend, nothing.
