Our next game is away at the Camp Nou. Well, Barca's home form hasn't been spectacular so far, but they've gotta break out of their rut sooner or later, and the international break might well prove a catalyst. Honestly, I'd feel more confident about taking something out of the match if Barca had thrashed Mallorca last start.

Joaquin's been ruled out of the upcoming match against Barca.

La Liga's been fairly even so far this season as no one's really run away with it.

Nice to see Real and Barca kept in check for the time being.

Overnight results;

Atletico 2-0 Getafe
Barca 2-1 Valencia
Malaga 1-4 Real Madrid

Real at the top of the table for now, could stay there depending on Villareal's upcoming game.

Real beat Racing 6-1, with Ronaldo scoring 4 goals.

I think he's atm the top goal scorer in La Liga.

Malaga coach has been sacked.

Apparently he was the third highest paid coach in the league, as Malaga are owned by Billionaires. Look out for them in the January transfer window...

Barca are raping Getafe atm. Up 2-0 in the first half. Goal a piece to Messi and Villa (who really could have a hattrick by now).

Man Messi is such a sexy player to watch.

Real win the Madrid derby 2-0. Goals to Carvalho and Ozil.

Ozil's looked so good for Real. Slotted into La Liga fairly seamlessly.

La Liga is getting just as bad as the SPL, where there are only two teams capable of winning the title. The rest aren't even remotely close.

Barca up 2-0 in El Classico. Goals to Xavi and Pedro so far.

10 out from half time. Ronaldo and Valdes both get yellows.

How about this - Christiano Ronaldo scores 4 goals in Real's 6-2 victory over Sevilla overnight. NOT ONE of those goals was from a penalty, and 3 of the goals he scored came in a 10 minute time frame. FINALLY he plays a decent game for Real.

I don't know about that Bulldog Force, his goal-scoring record at Real regardless has been super. Still a brilliant, brilliant display and I am ashamed that I didn't stay up to watch it.

It not so much that he scored goals, but how often does he score 4? How often does he not score goals from penalties? How often does he (or anyone) score 3 goals in the space of 10 minutes?

After Ronaldo's four goals, this is now the only contest still worth watching this season:

Ronaldo: 33
Messi: 31

Final matches:
Real Madrid v Getafe
Villareal v Real Madrid
Real Madrid v Almeria

Levante v Barcelona
Barcelona v Deportivo La Corunya
Malaga v Barcelona

Another 3 for Ronaldo tonight. Messi needs a romp against Levante tomorrow to keep this battle alive:

Ronaldo: 36
Messi: 31
