Do we know what it would take for Bradford to increase their points and become a tier A club in the IMG ratings?
They aren’t far off super league on the points system

maybe rank 13 or 14

ground is always a negative

their crowds are still good and been outside super league for ages

London look like being kicked out and Wakefield look most likely to go back up or toulose

bradford are just behind them

In super league over 10k easy
which isnt the 20k you posted.

Odsal is also a lot more run down and outdated compared to most grounds than it was back in 1998.

Like I said they have the potential, but they need some serious investment. That they are so close to SL license points bodes well for them in attracting that investment.

They averaged as high as 15k in super league

the derby with Leeds was massive

indeed all the West Yorkshire clubs got a lot from the large bulls travelling fan base

and they went bust and have not been able to rebuild to SL despite the door being open. your point being? Doesnt matter how big your crowds are if you cant keep the lights on. Ask Newcastle.

They went bust because of a bad stadium deal not because they don’t have a large fanbase

Letting the bulls leave super league was so stupid

it’s sownthing the Aussie would never have let happen if they were running it

nothing to do with stadium deal, it was years of mismanagement that put them over 2million pound in debt. They were the biggest club in english RL and the board totally screwed it. Unlike in Australia clusb dont get bailed out when they f**k up.

but thats in the past. The opportunity is there for them to be back in SL if they can find the right investors and sort a few things out.

It was the stadium deal lol

it’s funny you are even clueless about super league

Bradford council were responsible for the cost of maintaining odsal

they did a deal with the bulls to give them an upfront cash payment and transfer all future maintenance to the bulls

the money got wasted then the cost of maintaining odsal sent them broke

paying 400k pounds a year for this garbage lol
IMG deal is in a share of revenue increases. Pretty sure RFL revenue hasnt gone up enough to be paying that lol

So far:
SL on FTA for first time ever
Every SL game screened live for first time ever
a new grading system forcing clubs to get their sht together off the field for first time ever
Sl attendances on the up
new investors taking over clubs

not bad for 2 years into a 12 year partnership.

Super league was on channel four lol

before img even thought about coming on board

all games being televised whilst the tv deal got cut 30 percent ?

just as clueless about super league as the nrl. At least you are consistent

haha IMG brokered the ch4 deal, it was the start of the relationship

https://www.img.com/sports/our-news...duce-channel-4s-betfred-super-league-coverage.

the tv deal wasnt reduced 30% at all, like seriously do you just make stuff up in your head?

The last Sky deal was 25million, this one is 20million + BBC rights + increased international rights+live stream into betting shops. It also included Sky production of every game that RL commercial could then use to develop a pay for view streaming service. revenue from that unknown at this time.
