Stating the obvious, and it could also be considered hear say, but a source with connections to Sheens informed me that -

1-he wants every cent owing to him

2-feels bitter and betrayed by the club and players, especially one who he brought to the club at a young age and treated like a son.

3-what ever he told the players privately,Humpty would know within 24hrs from the players

4-Marshall would sulk and not talk to him for days if he said anything negative to him about his game

5-Farah has signed with Parra for 2014.

I cant help feeling that Sheens can only blame himself for the state of his situation at the club, and his relationship with the players, throw in his coaching issues, which there are many and its no wonder that he is out of a job.

However, the board really needs to pay this guy out to rid the club of any negative animosity that may exists with him hanging about, this would benefit every body at the WT in 2013

This bloke is in major denial- sounds like its everyones fault but himself. Now plays the victims card. Cowboys situation all over again. He digs himself in and has to be blasted out at both clubs. Very negative, malign influence now.

Shows how stupid WT were to dance to his tune last year with this contract extension on so favourable terms to Sheens. All because Penrith were sniffing around, we rushed in a re-signed him on his terms. Stupidity. I hope his can be resolved soon. One things for sure- wont be amicable nor particularly pleasant. Going out this way has killed any thankful thoughts re 2005 now. Good bye and good riddance however it can be done just go............................

I work for a big corporation and I have never heard of this happening.
Employees in any business generally sign on in an ongoing contract, meaning there is no expiry date, nor is there a need to review your contract to extend your employment at your job.

High end management etc and athletes are different, they are brought in on set deals that are not ongoing contracts (ie - they have an expiry date)

If a persons services have been terminated prior to the expiry date, then the person has every right to demand to be paid for the remainder of their contract.

I get where you guys are coming from with regards to the contract however I still fail to see how he gets the whole payout especially after he said he would walk if the team failed to perform.

To me it shows a lack of integrity.

Integrity has nothing to do with a contract.

Jesus some people are naive.

A contract is a legally binding document - that binds both sides to a set of terms.

"What you say" is a bunch of crap that means nothing.

My view: I'm glad he's gone, but the club should do the right thing and pay out his contract.

Call his bluff and make him decide on the Australian Fulltime role.

It is on the table and he wants both that and a full payout and as such is holding out

Mr Greedy wants both, the full payout and the Aussie job.Be interesting to see if his contract stipulates the job as head coach. I would imagine it dose but if it was not the case I would put him on the front desk at the shop at Loftus street Concord and tell him your working 9 to 5 for the next two years unless you want to talk about a fifty percent negotiated settlement.

Club should pay it out, so that they can learn from their dumb f**king mistake the hard way, if the club can't afford it, then the board members have to foot the bill.

They won't make that mistake again.

The pay out issue aside, his comment about Farah most likely is nothing but a rant from a bitter man,Farah's silence has been deafening since Sheens sacking.Bad blood on the Kangaroo tour between them, then Sheens blaming Robbie for WT failing to make the semi's are just two instances that suggest to me that Sheens would be the last person Farah would confide in concerning his future.

It also seems improbable considering the situation the Eels currently have trying to sign Folau. If they can't fit him under the cap how would they fit Farah as well? I think Robbie will be with the Tigers for many years to come.

Unless a secret Farah deal is what has used up a lot of their future cap ?

I don't think any of this happened and the rumours that were posted previously were just fairy tales.

Sheens or Robbie recently said he was they were on good terms.

Which holds about as much weight as anything said on here really.
Most people know whats generally said publically is what's thought to be what the punters wanna hear.
Remember Beau in May saying on national TV he'd re-signed with WTs?
Best to take everything with a grain of salt
