Friedel - 2 fantasic saves in this game. Both teams have been equally shit in defense but we've been much better in attack.

More unbelivable things. Firstly "great spirit shown from this Arsenal team". Since when has anyone described us like that?

And then Rosicky's lovely finish, his 1st goal in 50 games. 1st in 2 years. With a classy finish. Classy. Finish. ROSICKY. fmd.

We're infront now...this is where we usually f**k things up from.

Bizarro world. RVP holds the ball off 2 defenders, finds the open Walcott. Walcott lovely touch and chips over the low keeper. His 1st league goal at Emirates since 2010.

We've been by far the better team for the vast majority of this game.

4-2. One more goal to get back in the top 4.

Walcott is this doing this strange thing where he scores when he's got just the keeper to beat. Funny that.

5-2. Currently in the top 4. This is the most enjoyable game I've watched in a long time.

Wow. Just, wow.

Firstly, I take back everything negative I've ever said about Theo. I don't care if he can't pass or cross, if he can finish like that I'm a happy camper. Also remember how close his first attempt went.

I'm overjoyed at Tomas Rosicky's game. He's always been one of my favourites, I've defended him to the death after his gradual return to form after two years out, and it was so pleasing to see him dominate a midfield like that again. I'll be wearing my Rosicky #7 jersey for the next fortnight.

Was that Arsenal playing? Ruthless, committed, passionate, spirited and convincing are adjectives I haven't associated with Arsenal in a while.

I totally agree about the game though - I haven't enjoyed a game like that since the 3-0 win at City a while back. The Chelsea win this year a close second.

Hell yeah!!! What a freaking win. I thought we were gone but the pride shown especially against these clowns was unbelievable. What a massive result!!!

Fml what a game.

Apart from 3 defensive fckups (2 which cost us goals) we were pretty much in full control.

The way they were counter attacking in the first half i thought both teams had a shot but Redknapp decided to clog the midfield which obviously ended up back firing. That Sandro is something special, it takes a different sort of player to make Rosicky look as good as he did today.

Back into the top 4. Come on you bastards, after Liverpool next week it's just City and Chelsea left of the big teams.

Ledley King is the man, if he plays we never lose

lol

too many injuries and the speed of the game has finally caught up with him, beaten near post by rosicky and virtually ushered one of walcott's goals into the net, not to mention the horror at city a few weeks ago

even 2-0 up i never felt confident, despite some dodgy results over the last couple of years wenger seems to be able to (get his players to) rise for the derby. spurs outgunned, outclassed and out-enthused.

rvp a class above, would hate to see him go anywhere else [/sarcasm]

well played lads

now c'mon cardiff

Having just watched the replay, this comment makes me lulz the hardest:lol:

Sorry Twizz, but he was the worst player on the pitch by far.

He was pretty poor but i think you can throw Bale in there too.

Dived to win a penalty then was in Sagna's back pocket for the rest of the half. In the second half he decided to go f**k around in the middle/on the right. Which left BAE completely isolated and it's no surprise all 3 of our second half goals were down Bale and BAE's side.

Throw in getting beaten to the ball by Sagna for our first and his marking on Rosicky for that header that Friedel saved and he had a reasonably shit afternoon.

Friedel is a beast though. He's the sort of keeper we have been calling out for years. Made 2 or 3 awesome saves that kept in the game for as long as they were.

Congratulations, was an awesome game. I knew we were in trouble even at 2-0 up, and knew the football gods would come back to bite us after Bale dived to win the penalty... was kind of hoping we would miss it actually.

Would have been interesting to see what would have happened if Kyle Walker put away that chance mid first half that could have made it 3-0.

Could have been 7-2 without Freidal. Best thing about him, he never blows up at the Defenders. Hate it when they do that, most of the keepers in the league seem too (especially Howard, Reina, Wolves keeper)

I'm sure you guys will recover and give Man U a tough game next weekend.

I'm not really taking too much from our game. It was kinda similar to our AC one. One team played really well and the other was really poor.

I'd love to say we can keep that sorta form up but as soon as we vs a mid table team and they decide to sit deep i can see us struggling again.

I'd prefer Hazard but seeing as we have pretty much already been priced out of getting him Podolski would be good enough. Still...

One can dream:

RvP
AoC Wilshere Hazard
