I've read that he has packed his bags and left already.

I think what you guys did was the norm.

Most clubs want to set a buy out figure at the end of the loan for obvious reasons. Otherwise you are just giving him more game time and experience for the benefit of RM if they decide not to sell.

I'd be happy with chucking that loser in the reserves for a year and letting his career rot.

He should be made an example of. Of all the players that think they're too good for Arsenal he has been by far the shittest. We aren't going to get much for him considering how late it is in the window, so i'd be more than happy for him to hang out with Miquel and Mannone for a year.
