We apparently had a 20mill bid rejected for M'Vila, it was reported by the same paper that is saying the Nasri deal has fallen through.

And span i think its time Arsene pulls the trigger and uses Lewis Hamilton as a striker Next to RVP.... but ideally id rather

Another huge mistake by Wenger was not signing Enrique. he was great last night and for his price shouldve been an absolute must. Gibbs may have the talent but the kid spends more time on the injury table than on the pitch and Traore? No thanks. Depressing.

Like Vertonghen. A bit underrated but could handle the step up. Love Gotze of course. Such a good player. Haven't seen much of Remy and Cissokho, but since your purchases include Gotze and Vertonghen I trust your judgement.

LOL@Squillaci and Almunia. Sadly, we would have to use all our transfer funds to pay a club to take them.:sarcasm::crazy:

I don't really post much in it. There are so many ppl in there that your posts usually get lost in the shit that is the lobby. If i do post it's in the main forum.

The crowd looked terrible from the 80th minutes onwards. The fans are talking with there feet and voices. I feel like it's 100% assured that we will not finish in the top 4, and i have grave doubts about the top 6.

I'm flabbergasted that Arsenal won't spend a dime to improve their team. Surely Wenger can't still be trying to hold to his silly moral high ground after 6 years of f**k-all? It's not like the team is broke, and buying a few players won't suddenly morph them into Citeh or Chel$ki.

He's just a stubborn prick as AusKnight said. It's not like we are buying for the sake of buying a la Chelscum or Man Shitty. It's buying because our squad is just an injury or two away from having a disaster season. It's buying to actually challenge for trophies, rather than capitulating when we could have really done with that extra player or two who could give us that final push. And Wenger doesn't recognise that. He just can't see what everyone else is saying. One or two dissenting voice is nothing. The collective intelligence of thousands of Gooner fans, and even the non-Arsenal aligned fans, is something.

Don't get me wrong. Wenger has done so much for this club and he will ALWAYS be a club legend and possibly our definitive manager. But maybe it's now time for a new direction and new path?

^ Well said, it all depends what he does in the next 10 days as to where we will see him as this teams manager, if he lets nasri go and does not re invest in the squad then i believe if the team doesn't finish in the top 4 then we should give him the tap on the shoulder

The two most annoying things of the transfer season :

Zapata - Villareal for 6m.

Enrique - Newcastle for 6m.

For a combined 12m, imagine how much better our squad would have looked?

Totally agree.

Last season (and the seasons prior) a 4-3-3 suited us, as we had quality in the midfield, and sufficient depth to cover injuries or suspensions. Nowadays we're struggling to even have three midfielders on the pitch.

At least we'll have RvP, Nasri and Gervinho for the Udinese game. So the 4-3-3 could probably work.

I don't even want to name a side for the Man U game..The fact that Lansbury or Eastmond will be starting alongside Rosicky and Ramsey, with Jenkinson, Squillaci and an out of position Sagna is terrifying.

If I were religious, I'd be praying extra hard for signings. Or at the very least, Gibbs or Traore to be fit, along with Koscielny.

Miquel showed more in 60 mins yesterday than Squillaci has in his entire Arsenal career. I'd start Miquel if he pulls up alright.

Remember that we may have hazard for the MAN utd game plus we also may have other signings lined up for after the CL game, the lack of a DM Enforcer is a worry though and if we end up getting Kaka which id walk tot he moon for we will be fine anyway

^and zapata has almost knocked his own team out of the CL with his stupidity, so i can see why he only went for 6m.

gave it a read, we havent had some luck for a while but i guess it will change sooner or later, aslong as we dont go liverpool and not win anything for 20 years ill be fine
